Community Update:
As we mentioned before, aside from event news and the 2nd Friday of the month being focused on coding/art updates all at once, all other Fridays are centered around the community!

Addressing Concerns About RNG
RNG can be a fun experience. It creates constant variety in sandbox games, fun encounters and sometimes, excitement similar to winning the lottery. We - the devs and admins - play games too. Browser games, MMOs, mobile games, simulations, builders, Blizzard’s legendary worlds, Bethesda’s creations — we love gaming too. RNG adds a touch of excitement and surprise to general gameplay and is found in many games.

However, it can lead sometimes to frustration.

We understand that and we don’t want to see you guys frustrated. We want to balance things out, in a few ways.

We can confirm that the rates of acquiring the Mukombero item did in fact increase after Tier 3 was opened, and the item was always intended to be very rare, as stated in the news - it was coded to be wayyy more common than Solaris base encounter, and we think the numbers proved it. However, we can understand why some members are upset over the rarity of the item, when they have put extra energy and effort into finding it. We value your concerns.

From now on, these drops will continue to be found at very rare chances in explore during their respective months. However, we will also introduce epic quests for each player to complete once per account during the months they are released. This means every player who is willing to put in the work, and dedicate time to a very large, demanding quest, will be guaranteed one of these items, in addition to being able to find them in explore during their event months (if very lucky!).

The minimum requirements to start the quest will be high. However, once a quest is started, you have unlimited time to complete it.

The first one will start in July, for Interstellar Remnants. We look forward to seeing how many of you are able to complete the quest!
