I'm mostly not comfortable with it because it's an adolescent and your lion's an adult. All the moves to claim are about flirting with the lioness... So they'd have to re-write it to make it not skeevy AF.

Well because the groupies are just fans who look up to you and wanna join your pride to learn from their favorite king.

But at the same time, I'm not sure how they could do this without adding an entirely new function to Lioden. So it might be worth it to perhaps think about stuff for that?

Edit: I will say though I was never comfortable that the player could outright flirt with V'kai but that's how I treated the male groupies without making myself feel nauseous.

Basically the buttons for claiming could be changed:

High paw, Tussle, Bro Fist, Growl, Snarl, Bite, Smack....etc.

If this was implemented, it would decrease the value of the adolescent groupies. The chance of getting a teen "fanboy" from V'kai instead of a lioness is supposed to be small even if you choose the boost. (For clean breeders, heritageless males make good replacer heirs, so they have value there.) So no support from me, but maybe you could get a Cheering Fan decor from this encounter instead?

Perhaps they should lower the encounter for this one for the chance to 'claim' a chased boyo from another pride? Like, the flavour text reads *inside the claiming arena* 'This lion baps your paws furiously, happy they have been accepted into another pride'

I like this. Maybe the button could say "Bro out" instead of "claim" to go with the different actions
