It depends on everyone's personalities.
For example, my character and also the sovereign, Yifan, has a fear of losing loved ones (Shh, you didn't hear anything). Thus he is especially distrustful and will most likely be cold to Clove and decide to send him away, unless some kind character convinces him not to.
