Changes to How We Moderate

Today we are introducing a new system which we hope will be more clear and understandable.

Every account now has an "Account Standing". This starts at 100%, and you can view your current account's standing on your Den page near your Account Settings.

If a member breaks a rule, they will now receive one of several actions which may or may not affect their Account Standing. A simple reminder will not affect their account standing but will be a permanent record on their account. A warning, social ban or site ban will affect the standing.

The notification of the action taken against an account will also no longer be in the form of a Modbox ticket - it will be sent to the Moderator Messages portion of your Inbox.

Depending on which rule is broken and the severity of the rule break, the amount of Account Standing that will drop may be different.

Account Standing will be replenished by waiting - actions which affect your standing will drop off after a period of time, and although they will be a permanent record on the account, they will not affect the standing for long. Should your Account Standing reach 0%, regardless of what action sends it to there, the account will receive a permanent site ban.

All accounts will be starting at 100% Account Standing as of this news post, however if you have a history of rule breaking, you may receive higher Account Standing reductions if you continue to break rules. Any suspensions on site services (e.g. chat, forum, or whole site) that are currently in place will remain.

Moderating is not formulaic in nature, we review each case individually and independently of general account history. If you feel you have been treated unfairly in a situation, you are welcome to appeal an action taken against your account by either PMing Abbey in-game or sending an email to support@lioden.com.

Exploit Fix
- There was an exploit with Safou Fruit allowing users to remove a mutation from a cub that had an adult mutation present. From now on, cubs that have adult mutations will not appear in the Safou Fruit dropdown until they reach the age for those mutations to show up visually.

Updates
* The Members leaderboards for Most Custom Decors and Most Items in Hoard have been removed. Items in Hoard was massively lagging the site when it was caching and it has also encouraged the hoarding of an insane amount of items which we probably should have foreseen, but alas :) It has now been removed and we will not be implementing it again. If anybody wants aid in removing items from your Hoard please make a Modbox ticket, as we appreciate the pageload will be immense.

* Added clarification to the Retirement page: "Additionally, any Pose set on your king will not persist through to the new King."

New Items in June Shops
As promised, we've added the Gorilla Enclave's retired Egyptian decors to all June shops.
The following decors have been added to all temples: Ankh Scar, Anubis Mask, Buried Sekhmet, Egyptian Makeup, Egyptian Pyramids, Isis Wings [Bottom], Isis Wings [Top], Nubian Pyramids, and Temple of Edfu.
The Idol of Seth is now in the Seth Temple. The Idol of Bast is now in the Bast Temple. The Idol of Thoth is now in the Anubis Temple.

If we ever add more decors to match the Anubis Mask one, we will separate it in the future as well.

A completely new item has been added to all shops: Canopic Jellyfish!



This item will let you resurrect one of your deceased recorded pride members (from your Pride Dynasty) and bring them back in a frozen state, as though they were a living vessel. It will require a free frozen slot within your pride.

Monkey Business Update
The following decors have been added to Monkey Business. The Pride Face Paint decors are available only during the month of June and will return annually to celebrate Pride Month within our community!

Murk-themed applicators will now show up within the rare tier of the Floodpit!

The Murk base is a Black Countershaded Medium Special base, and is our first attempt at a normal, applicable green base. Thank you for the suggestion!

The markings are: Crumbing, Crackle, Shimmer and Feline (1).

New Mutation!
GASP! All of this cub breeding caused a new lethal mutation to appear among the lions in Lioden - Cleft Palate! You guys voted for it years ago. Finally, after the big Tigon project, we were able to add it!

It is as rare as other lethal mutations, and it has multiple health messages. It will die from malnutrition at 3 months of age, as it will not be able to feed properly.
