Angelic blessing makes it so the lioness is pregnant on the first try.

Cotton Root Bark increases the chance of a mutation, and increases the chance of it being lethal. This doesn't mean it is always lethal. The Lion Scrotum increases the chance of passing the lioness's mutation to the cubs. Low fert. lionesses are also more likely to produce mutated cubs, even without items.

To add: 1% fertility and cotton root bark DO NOT increase chances of a dwarf to pass, so it's better not to use them on a dwarf breeding. They merely increase chances of a random breeding mutie, like achromia or folded ears, to pop up suddenly in the litter. Dwarf passing is only affected by a Lion Scrotum.
