Hurricane and Bermuda stood side by side, staring at the rising sun. Bermuda was exhausted, having just returned from attempting to hunt enough food for her dragonets. Her old age had caught up with her, however, and she had been unable to catch anything but a small whale calf.
Hurricane was concerned - Bermuda had come back and almost dropped out of the sky from exhaustion, but she insisted that she must go through with what she had planned today. The appointment she had planned at dawn with another dragon Queen needed to happen. She had been very adamant about this.
Hurricane, begrudgingly agreeing to take care of the dragonets once again, grasped the whale calf in her jaws and began to take it further into the cave, her tail brushing gently against Bermuda's side as she passed.
Bermuda watched her go before she gathered herself, gripping the rock in her talons, and launched herself into the sea below. The cave was sitting on a sheer cliff face, facing the ocean, back towards the Seawing kingdom. The cave was well hidden against the face of the cliff - most dragons from the Mudwing kingdom behind them wouldn't see it. The only concern was passing dragons and other Seawings - although the latter problem had mainly been solved due to the tension between the Mudwings and the Seawings. Seawings usually didn't come as far out as here.
As Bermuda slipped into the water, her old age seemed to melt away - she swam as gracefully as a fish beneath the water. She traveled for what seemed like a mile or two before gathering her strength and bursting out of the sea, her wings carrying her upwards. In the distance, sitting on the banks of the Diamond Spray Delta, a flash of pink caught her eye. Her guest had arrived.

Hurricane's claws rapped against the cave wall of the nesting room. "Wake up, little ones. We have a guest arriving soon." She called gently, lying down on the cave floor in the center of the large room. She leaned her head against the massive spire of rock rising in the center, connecting with the cave ceiling. She couldn't deny that she was old, too after all, she was only a few years younger than Bermuda. It's best not to dwell on such things. She reminded herself. She had dragonets to watch over - there was no need to get depressed over things she couldn't change. Of course, that's what Bermuda does, isn't it? She snorted to herself.
Starchaser awoke with a start to the sound of Hurricane's voice. He shot up from where he had been sleeping, grinning almost ear to ear. A guest?? We never have guests! He made his way out of the room with a bounce in his step, making his way towards the old Seawing lying on the floor. She smiled in greeting, thumping him playfully on the shoulder.
"Good morning. We will go out and get some more to eat later on today. After our guest has arrived. For now, take a little to eat." She gestured with a talon to the whale calf lying on the ground a few feet in front of her.

Torch back rose and fell, her dark green eyes opened opan the sounds and they narrowed as she yawned reveling her sharp teeth. Slipping out of her nest she streached before following Starchaser . Torch grabbed some of the whale calf as she smiled exited about a guest, she was happy to see someone other than the ones she seen everyday. " Who are we seeing? " She asked her tail tip flicked as it snaked around her waist as she made it shake on the floor it kinda sounded like a rattlesnake

In the corner of the cave, a Mudwing, about 7 years old, was slumped asleep in the corner. He had a Maroon base, and clay spikes going from his head to his tail. He grumbled about eating ten whales when he started to wake up.

Torch being her got up and stalked forward once She got to him she smiled . She got smoke built up her her mouth before blowing it in his face. She laughed before running back to the others her wings spread a bit as she slowly slide to a stop . Her scales on the bottom showed before she settled down with her wings tucked.

Trunk breathed in the smoke. His eyes shot up, and started coughing a little."W-wh.. is there a fire?" He then saw the dragons. He adjusted his weight, and started talking. "Uh, hi! Im Trunk! Nice to meet ya! Whats your name?"

Hurricane smiled softly, watching Torch walk into the room. "Good morning."
Starchaser grinned at Torch, nodding as he swallowed a piece of the carcass. "Yeah, Hurricane, who is it?"
Hurricane just smiled. "Patience. You'll see soon enough. All I can tell you is that this dragon is very important, so I expect you all to behave."Her soft voice became more stern as she reached the end of her sentence, looking very pointedly at them.

"Good morning, Bermuda." A rough voice greeted as Bermuda landed on the bank of the river.
"Good morning, Solstice."
"It's Queen Solstice to you, old dragon." The female Icewing growled. Bermuda stared her down for a few seconds. A few moments of silence passed before both dragons began to laugh. Bermuda shook her head with a snort.
The rising sun reflected off of Solstice's scales, the pink sheen becoming more prominent as the sun climbed the sky. The Icewing was both pretty and ugly at the same time, if that could be possible. Her scales and her build were beautiful, but ugly scars crisscrossed her body. In short, she definitely a dragon you wouldn't want to cross.
"Why have you called me here, Bermuda?" Solstice asked her.
"You'll see when we arrive. Follow me." She turned, a slight limp her step, angling her snout towards the sea. To make her Icewing companion feel more at ease, she opted to take flight instead of swimming. A few short moments later, Solstice raised her wings and leapt into the sky, following the Seawing queen.

Torch burst out laighing " You should have " She couldn't even finish as she laid down trying to calm down " Sorry Trunk " She said knowing she was going to most likely get yelled at. But she still held a smile on her red face. She sat up and tossed the mudding some meat from the whale calf. Her eyes closed as she took a bite of her own food.


Seal slept in her room, her tail hung off of her bed and so did her head. Her wings sparkled with the jewels and so did her scales. Yawning she woke up slowly and streached spreading her wings as she got out of bed and sat down on the floor

Hurricane snorted as she heard Torch's outburst. She didn't say anything, however - she just rolled her eyes. Dragonets were strange. Then again, she had once been one. Of course, she couldn't remember a single thing from those days.
Starchaser, simply turned his head towards the noise, looking back at the gentle smoke rising from the room. Torch. Always a troublemaker. He rolled his eyes playfully and flopped down next to Hurricane.
However, Hurricane's sharp movement startled him. She stood abruptly, staring at the entrance. It was then that Starchaser heard the sound of wings. Hurricane, in an uncharacteristically serious manner, snapped her head around towards the rest of the dragonets. "Get up! Come in here, sit down, and behave. Or you will all be in trouble!"
Starchaser obeyed, settling himself next to Hurricane, who had sat down and curled her tail around her front talons. Starchaser followed her example, attempting to look regal by spreading his wings slightly and lifting his head proudly. His absorption in how he looked was broken, however, when Bermuda arrived - followed by a beautiful, yet scary dragon. An Icewing. I've never met an Icewing before. Well except for Blizzard. But he's been here his whole life. This is a real Icewing! He almost cowered as her gaze landed on him, but he forced himself to stand tall.
"Dragonets, I would like you all to meet my dear friend, Queen Solstice." Bermuda announced, nodding towards her companion. Solstice did not reply; she simply regarded the dragonets with an unreadable expression.

Blizzard looked up and his eyes went huge. Another. IceWing. This wasn’t happening. He had to be dreaming. He pinched himself. Ow. Not a dream. That was another of his kind. “H-hello...”He stuttered, bowing low. “Are y-you my q-queen?” His wings shook

Seal looked for her mother and huffed realizing she had already left. Spreading her wings she flew off even if she was going to get yelled at for being alone she went to explore

Solstice looked all of the dragonets over with interest. To tell the truth, she generally thought this whole "prophecy" business was utter bullshit. She was very surprised that Bermuda had actually gone through with it. However, she knew that if Bermuda had kept this a secret for the last few years, it was a privilege for her to know these young dragonets. Bermuda clearly trusted her.
She smirked at the young Skywing, who had addressed her in a very formal manner. "At least you've taught them well, Bermuda." She snorted. Bermuda smiled at that, winking at Torch.
Solstice's gaze drifted over to the Icewing dragonet, whose voice stuttered as he spoke. "Why, I would assume so." Solstice chuckled in reply to his question. "Of course, you couldn't be in my kingdom, now could you? According to Bermuda, you're all rather special. Of course, personally, prophecies were never much of a.....interest of mine." She stated, a growl coming up in her throat. "If you ask me, Nightwings are full of-"
Bermuda nudged her. Solstice respectfully cleared her throat. Starchaser, however, was a bit hurt by that comment. But he kept his silence. Solstice regarded him with a stare. "This one seems strong." She remarked.
"And you must be Hurricane." She greeted. Hurricane smiled and dipped her head. "Now, Bermuda, why have you brought me here?"
"These are the prophecy dragonets." She stated quietly. "I know you don't believe, but....don't you want this world to be better than it is? Don't you want to save us?" Her voice became pleading, the voice of an old dragon that was running out of hope. Even Bermuda feared that this prophecy wasn't true, but she wouldn't voice that.
"If you believe in them, then take them out. Teach them to be warriors." Solstice turned, staring at the seven dragonets.

Torch gave Starchaser a smile before whispering " Your better than most night wings don't worry about what she said" She smiled before looking back at the older dragons. Her eyes held now a little less respect for the queen it was rude of her to say something like that and not apologize. She held now a straight face as well as her tail curled around her talons

Scorpion would growl. He had been awake ever since a little after Starchaser woke up, but was not hungry. He had a terrible relationship with the dragons and most dragonets except the nightwing, and nobody knew why. He snorted, back turned away from food, as sand covered the floor in front of him. He quickly scuttled toward the food, took a medium small chunk, and went back to his corner and ate it with a grumble. He seemed to have no acknowledgement about this guest. Then, he managed to choke out a “Greetings.” With a snarly tone in his voice. He would keep his chest puffed out and head level as he turned around to greet the queen. His venomous tail raised high, showing he was either afraid, or showing dominance. It was a little bit of both, actually.
