Torch looked at the Mudwing and Sandwing her tail tip rattled on the ground as she stood up and walked off going t grab something. Once she was back she dropped some rats near them " I caught them today " she muttered taking one and throwing it into the air before snapping her jaws onto it .

Scorpion grabbed the rat and swallowed it whole, blood dripping from his mouth. He licked his chops and still, waited for the queen to say something.

Solstice had been watching the exchanges between the dragonets. They were a bit....disorganized, if she was honest. But she knew that raising dragonets was hard - she had a daughter herself - so she opted not to comment on that. She noticed the way the Nightwing looked hurt by her comment. "My apologies, little one. The Nightwings and I haven't exactly been on the greatest terms. But that is a story for another time."
Bermuda still had that pleading look on her face as she stared at the floor in a pensive manner. She was afraid that taking them out would get them hurt, but she knew Solstice was right. She was mildly annoyed at Scorpion and Trunk's antics but she kept her mouth shut. She would berate them later.
Starchaser was surprised that the Icewing queen had actually apologized. As much as he hated being on the receiving end of such hate, he understood - he knew Nightwings had started this war. Truth be told, that made only him want to be part of the force that stopped it. He wanted to show the world that Nightwings could be better than they were. Nonetheless, he was grateful for Torch's comment - he smiled at her and nudged her as a gentle "thank you". He got along fairly well with Torch, and surprisingly enough, Scorpion. Sometimes Scorpion could be a bit of an ass, but he could be agreeable at times. Blizzard was another of the dragonets that he didn't mind spending time around. In truth, he felt like he was supposed to protect them. He wasn't the biggest of them all, but he still felt like a guardian. An older sibling, if you will.
Solstice's attention returned to Blizzard. She looked him up and down for a moment. Despite his skittish attitude, she was actually growing fond of him. "It's not common, no. But I've met a few Icewings. You might grow into it, perhaps. You might not. Not being able to move them doesn't make much of a difference, if I'm honest." She chuckled.
Now, the Sandwing - she wasn't sure whether she liked him or not. He had an attitude - she could get with that - but he seemed a little too feisty. Perhaps it was a Sandwing thing. She tilted her head, staring at him. "He'd be a good warrior, I suppose." She grunted.
Bermuda sighed, capturing Solstice's attention. "I think I agree with what is being said. I can't just hide them in here due to my own fear. I think it's time." Solstice stared at her for a moment before nodding.
Starchaser watched for a few moments before speaking up. "It's really happening, isn't it? The war? Dragons are dying everywhere, aren't they?"
The hardness in Solstice's eyes seemed to give way to sadness. "More and more everyday."
Bermuda scratched the cave floor out of habit before standing stiffly. "Dragonets, come. Stand in a line in front of me. I will address you all."

He got up with a blunt face but inside he was proud, because the queen had said he would be a good warrior. He stood in front of Bermuda with glare, his eyes saying;I wonder wh@t she would say to me. He would give a violent smile and sit down and puff out his chest and raise his stinger. He would wave his tail slowly, anticipating bad or good news. His bronze scales would sparkle in the light shining through cracks in the cave.

Blizzard meekly got up and joined the line, finding the spot closest to Solstice

Solstice smirked slightly at Blizzard's movements, noticing that he had chosen a spot closer to her. Yes, it seemed she had a bit of a soft spot for him. She wondered how he would fair during the coming days, however. He was meek - maybe too meek. But judging by the rest of the dragonets, perhaps they would be protective enough to keep him from harm. Nonetheless, Bermuda would need to teach them how to fend for themselves. All of them.
Bermuda sighed, etching lines into the cave floor with her talons. "You will all come with me. I've decided that today, I will give you a task. You will all journey out and find food and bring it back here. I expect you all to stay within a reasonable distance to one another. Solstice, I'm sure, would be kind enough to agree to watch over you all. Now, I have expectations of you. If you bicker with one another, I will personally make sure you're punished." She growled, her tail swishing. "Whether you like it or not, you are family. You need to act the part. And if you do, I can assure you that I will know." She growled once more.
She was nervous. Anything could happen out there; but she kept her worries to herself. This is what they were here for. They needed to see this world for themselves and learn to become warriors. They needed to be both diplomats and warriors - there were a few that definitely wouldn't get the diplomat part down, but there were a couple of the dragonets that held promise in that area. However, they would all need to learn to be warriors, regardless of attitude or ability. Bermuda was getting older - she wouldn't be around for much longer, and she knew that. She just needed to be here long enough to teach them what they needed to know. And she hoped with everything she had that Solstice would agree to help watch over them when her time came.
"When you return, your training will begin. Go."
Starchaser was nervous, but he obeyed, launching himself off of the ledge and diving towards the sea. His talons trailed across the surface of the sea as the wind blew salty air across his face. The sea was something he had always loved - a strange thing for a Nightwing to love, but he enjoyed the smell of the sea and the water. He turned to see a flash of pink in the sky, greeted by the sight of Solstice swiveling around to fly in view of all of the dragonets.
"You will follow me. Come." Starchaser turned back to look at the two Seawings sitting at the edge of the cave, watching him. Bermuda looked worried. He gave her a smile - he would make her proud, he was sure of that.

Torch flew off of course out flying the rest of them " I'll take the air and find food. If i find any i'll tell one f you where it is" she said to the others . She waited to see if they agreed

Scorpion bursted after Starchaser but instead of going anywhere near the sea and turned around and went towards mudwing territory. He found a small nest of baby saltwater crocodiles. The mother was out in the ocean. He would sting 4 and put them all in his mouth when the mother came. The mother would lunge at him but he would dodge, and sting it’s neck. The crocodile would nip his chest, causing a small scar to open, but he was tough enough. The croc would die painfully as poison flew through her veins. He would drop the baby alligators and grab the mother and drag it all the way to the cave. The crocodile was not very big, only about 7 feet. But it was very crazy for a dragonet his age to kill a crocodile of any kind. He would drop it in front of Bermuda and smirk, sitting down. He waved his tail armed with a poisonous stinger in the air, waiting.

Torch sighed before flying off . She spotted a pair of hawks ,she spread her wings and dove grabbing both of them.they snapped at her talons but it didnt seem to bother her.Crushing them she flew back to the cave " Scorpion lets go out and find something with the others" she said " That way we can work on team work"

Blizzard jumped into the air, skimming low above the water. His talons darted into it sometimes and he always came up with a small, shiny fish. He would swallow some and hold others. He finally took to higher air and hovered by Solstice. “Are these good?” He seemed more comfortable with wet claws, cooled a bit by the chilly water.He held up his shiny prize. “ I could get a groundhog if these aren’t enough....” The fish were small, but numerous

Starchaser could barely make out flashes of disconcerting pink color in the corners of his vision as Solstice wheeled above them in the sky. He turned towards Torch before making his way towards her. "I'd have to agree with Torch on this one. You heard what Bermuda said. We can't go far from one another. We're in this together. We need to learn how to work together."
He could see Bermuda smiling at him from the cave entrance - she had heard him, and she approved. She gave another approving smile to Torch, nodding in affirmation. Starchaser turned his attention back to the others. "I can see something in the distance. Maybe a herd of some kind, possibly. We can get plenty of food if we manage to bring down whatever is over there." He pointed his tail towards a large group of creatures he could barely make out in the distance, near the Diamond Spray Delta. He had no idea what they were - he had never seen them before. However, it was worth a try to him.
Solstice nodded to Blizzard as he approached. "It's a start, little one. Perhaps you should go with the others." She tilted her head towards Starchaser and the other dragonets before giving Blizzard an approving nod as she regarded what he had already caught.
