OOc Thread Here! In a time of Great Sorrow, the land of Pyrrhia is thrown into turmoil....The assassination of two of Pyrrhia's dragon queens has sent the land into turmoil. An assassin on behalf of the former NightWing queen slaughtered both the RainWing and the SandWing queens - hungry for power, the SkyWings and Mudwings allied with the Nightwings in the Queen's quest for more power, fighting against the Seawings, Sandwings, RainWings, and Icewings.. The bloodthirsty NightWing queen's reign ended with her death, but the damage had already been done; the war rages on. Hybrids are being slaughtered left and right, eggs are being stolen from hatcheries; every dragon lives in fear as the bloodiest war in Pyrrhia's history wages outside their homes. Meanwhile, there have been reports of scavengers killing more and more dragons each year - the creatures they had never imagined as a threat were starting to fight back against them. Desperate to save her land, her tribe, and her lover, an icewing/seawing hybrid, Queen Bermuda sought the help of a Nightwing seer. He foretold that only seven hatchlings, one from each tribe, could help unite the seven dragon tribes and bring peace to the land. How, however, he could not say - and so, driven to exhaustion, Queen Bermuda stole an egg from the hatchery of each kingdom and hid them in a secret place. She can only hope that the seer had been right- she is close to death, and the land she so desperately loves is close to going up in flames...… -------------------------- Rules-You can have as many characters as you like, provided that you can roleplay with them all. If you make one and then decide you don't want to use them anymore, we can find a way to remove them from the roleplay (ex: killing the character, chasing them off, etc.) -Please no animus characters. :) -Please ask before designating any characters as a princess, king, or anything similar if the tribe already has a queen. Please ask the person in question who is playing the queen. :) -The roleplay will start when we have all the prophecy dragonets. You can have more than one. -Be nice! :) Anyone is allowed to join this roleplay as long as you follow this rule. ((I'm going to have something happen soon. I have something in mind, just gotta set up for it, haha. There's something Bermuda has to do first. And Solstice will return.)) Starchaser followed Torch, laying down on his side on his bed, his tail curling around himself, one clawed foot resting over his snout. He soon fell into a deep sleep, his back feet twitching as he slept. He awoke as morning light filtered into the cave - the groggy Nightwing dragonet lifted his head, his nose assaulted by the smell of meat. He blinked several times, eyes adjusting to the image of meat chunks in front of him. His tongue flicked out as he looked around, before deciding to just take it, swallowing the chunks whole. He stood, stretching each of his legs before walking stiffly out of the nesting room, heading outside towards the sea. He submerged himself up to his shoulders and laid down, watching the sun rise, the colors reflecting in his eyes. Hurricane watched him step outside. Bermuda had spoken to her when the dragonets had gone out - she knew what she had to do. She just needed to await Solstice's return. Solstice and the two older dragons had discussed the future, and they all had a plan in mind. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Abyss awoke to the cave... illuminating? She had hatched and lived in darkness and had only seen light rarely. Curious, she ignored her aching muscles and exhaustion and slid off the stalagmite to investigate. She watched the light flicker on and off at varying intervals. The source appeared to be coming from outside the caver, she swam over slowly and peaked her head outside, looking for the source. Only to see a... something. She had never really seen anything quite like it, having stayed almost exclusively to the abyss she never saw dragons and was unsure of what Queen Bermuda was. She stayed in the caver, but watched the strange thing for a while. She decided it looked like her, if a bit different in color. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Blizzard stretched his wings and returned to his cave,shuddering at the sight of the meat. He chewed it anyways, shuddering at the texture. He much preferred fish, that would slide down your throat without any need t chew. He sucked in a breath and began to coat his nest in a thin cover of frost. He made sheets of ice and shattered them, filling his nest with snow. He began to rub it all over his scales, his nightly cleaning ritual. Soon his scales were shiny and cold. He exited the cave and sat beside Starchaser. "Do you ever wonder about your parents?" 0 players like this post! Like? |

Bermuda watched as something peered from within the cave. She tilted her head in curiosity. The other dragon didn't seem afraid of her - they seemed as if they had almost never seen another dragon before. She flashed her stripes again, tilting her head as she swam closer, slowly, as to avoid agitating the other dragon. She could make out the general size of the dragon - it seemed to be a dragonet, and a young one at that. What were they doing down here? She pointed a claw towards the surface, flashing her stripes again. She hoped to relay a message - she wanted this young dragonet to come to the surface so they could speak. ---- ""It was you?" He laughed, grinning at Scorpion. "That was nice of you. Thanks." He thumped his tail close to Scorpion before turning his gaze back to the sunrise. He listened to Blizzard as he approaching, never taking his eyes off the sky. "Yeah. I do. I know I was stolen by another Nightwing. Once he was done looking, he grabbed a stick. "Stick, fly as fast as you can into that tree." The stick obeyed him, and flew straight into a tree that was infront of him. Abyss watched the thing come close and gesture something with its claws. She was confused, but even though the thing seemed larger than herself it certainly didn't seem dangerous. She slowly propelled herself upwards, making that same half click half growl she had seen the sleek fish do. They seemed to be able to communicate roughly that way, maybe the same thing would work here? 0 players like this post! Like? |
