If this already exists, please tell me! If it doesn’t, then tell me too so I can get rid of this notif and start working on adding more detail since I know it can stay xP I know this probably won’t be needed, but I made it for another user and decided to post it. Note that I WILL fix up the wording, layout, etc. This is just the base of it, and a quick guide I can send anyone to who is asking about primals. Note again that I made this in less than 15 minutes. It’s going to be kinda tacky (I used a pre-made wardrobe design, which is why it was quick) Note once more that this is a work in progress. There are four variations to primal, including the Primal mutation itself. Primal Primal Felis Primal Smilus Primal Ferus They are completely different mutations, meaning they do not stack and cannot be overlaid together. VARIATIONSREGULAR PRIMALSPrimal can be inherited by both male and female, but only males can pass the actual mutation. This means that if you were to breed a primal female to a normal lion, you will not get a primal. Male Female PRIMAL FELISPrimal Felis is the same thing. (Aka wip) Male Female PRIMAL FERUSPrimal Ferus can be passed from both males AND females, therefore being probably the most valuable primal variation. Male Female PRIMAL SMILUSPrimal Smilus can ONLY be inherited by males, therefore only passed by males. Male OTHER INFOSIZESPrimals and Primal variations vary in size, with the regular Primal being the biggest and primal Felis being the smallest. Here is a chart with all of the sizes (except regular Primal females, sadly, though you can assume they are slightly large) This is a WIP Please tell me if I get any info wrong! Hope this helps! 15 players like this post! Like? Edited on 15/08/19 @ 20:51:14 by luzlyfyrcat (#178213) |

I just got a 9 yr old Ferus girl. If I don't do any of the special stuff and just breed her with a Ferus Male what are the chances of getting a mutie? 0 players like this post! Like? |

@mushroom, Female primals do not affect the chance of it passing. They breed just like a lioness without the primal mutation would, even if bred to a primal stud. Edit to clarify: Female primals will not pass on their mutation unless bred to a primal stud. Breeding them to a primal stud will have the same chance to pass the mutation as a non-mutated lioness. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 01/09/22 @ 15:47:37 by Egg (#119522) |

@Zephyr, regular primals can pass on any of the primal variants naturally except for ferus. This is totally normal but less common than them passing on regular primal so congrats! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hi..what does it mean when you get a smilus primal even tho neither of the parents were of that variation of primal? Is that rare? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I just bred my Primal king to a Ferus female, does that increase my chances to get a primal (either variation)? I really want to get a decent male or female primal for an heir or breeding purposes. If anyone has tips lmk! I'm new to this whole mutation breeding stuff & lioden as a whole. 0 players like this post! Like? |
