Okay, so I’m trying to breed a leopon this month. A few questions: - I don’t have any leopons, but what process would I take when trying for a pon/gon? I’m using GMO cows since that seems to be the best method - Do GMO cows really work? If I buy five cows would I have a good chance at a pon/gon? - Do GMO cow breedings just spit out mutations such as folded ears and other common muts? Thanks for any help! My goal is to just not waste my beetles! 0 players like this post! Like? |

BeanieBaney, no, CRBs overwrite the fertility chance! So it doesnt matter what fertility you use it on. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Aye. So, what you should do is begin a breeding project that's sustainable for you. GMO Cows are going to be cheap right now, but once this event is over their price is going to go back up to around 28 GB per cow. In the best possible situation where GB wasn't a concern, you could do the following: 1.Breed a low/very low fertility lioness 2.Give her a Cotton Root Bark (CRB) to make her lose her litter 3. Breed her again once she's able to, using a Buffalo Scrotum (for 3 or more cubs) on your king and a GMO Cow on her. 4. Repeat process on other lionesses This method would be EXTREMELY costly, but would yield the most results. The way most people do it is setting up a CRB program: 1. Breed a low/very low fertility lioness 2. CRB her 3. Breed again and hope for the best 4. Repeat process on other lionesses Now, there isn't any certified chance that you would get a hybrid. Some people have been trying for years without success. A GMO Cow can help any mutation be spit out, I think. But AMPs are common, just like primals and foldies. But you can also get lethals as well. But like I said, there is no recognized percentage chance. It's all just random luck. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 08/09/19 @ 18:59:26 by Nygma (#5558) |

Honestly although buying heats is a pain, unless you're picky about getting a 1st gen pon/gon that's the way to go. You could sell the GMOs for gb outside of the event or trade the GMOs for heats. 2nd gen Pon/Gon heats are usually cheap, around 25gb or so. If you waited for GMO Cows to go back up in price, that's 5 chances at a Pon/Gon, granted the passrate is low (around 5% chance per cub for 2nd gens) so using a buffalo scrotum with each breeding would be ideal. Breeding a 1st gen requires mainly an insane amount of luck, I've used tons of CRBs (Around 300 this yr, and around 40 CRB + GMO Cows + Buffy Balls used solely on low fert DUs) and haven't had much luck, other than breeding mostly common muties, AMPs, and the occasional lethal. 0 players like this post! GMO cows is not the best method to get a hybrid sadly; the chances of it to be born are SO low that you could use 100+ GMOs and never get one. GMO cows are mostly producing common muties, achromias, foldies, bob tails, etc. - GMO cow is a good option when you just want any mutie from certain parents, like with certain mark or to have mutie on a high stat cub. The top best option is indeed buying a leopon/tigon heat. It's still got low chances, but they are drastically higher than those of getting a 1st gen born randomly. If you want specifically a 1st gen, Cotton Root Barks in that case would be more cost-effective than GMO cows; according to my own reseasch, selling GMO cows when they're around 40 GB and using 40 Cotton Root Barks instead gives more overall muties, so, more chances one is rolled a hybrid, but the chance is still extremely, extremely low. Judging by my own CRB projects, 40 cotton root barks used on 40 lionessess give roughly 6-8 mutated cubs - more than 1 GMO cow can possibly give. So it is better to save the cows, sell them, and use CRBs on all GB you get. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 09/09/19 @ 02:12:28 by Mad Hyena (#29080) |

From my experience using gmo cows I have always gotten common mutes and found it a total waste of gb. :( (gmos this month alone are going to be between 15-20gb to buy from other players if you don’t want to dip into your own personal stash paired with a 15-20gb buffalo scrotum) it adds up :/ The crb suggestions are the most reasonable in terms of not wasting a ton of resources. The other method if it doesn’t bug you and you don’t absolutely have to breed it yourself would be to stock up on this months event items and sell then later when they are worth more due to being off season (gnaw rocks really shoot up later in the year) sell the stuff and add the gb to your gon/pon fund. Sometimes people will also sell for gb/item mixture. Me personally I saved up and out right bought one :) both methods are hard work and rewarding in the end ❤️ 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Dumb question here and not to jump on. But I've been using CRB on Goddess Ferts. Does that lower my chance or just give me more chances? 0 players like this post! Like? |
