I think that the ultrasound should tell the gender of the cub. Real ultrasounds do, and it might help users make space for males instead of being like “oh bleep”, I have a male.
Can be turned on and off.

Sorry no support, the only reason humans can tell what the fetuses are is because we can physically see them. Where as the bat cannot see them he can only tell how many there are. He doesnt have ultrasound vision

echolocation and ultrasound are not the same thing though, bats cannot "see" through walls and most bats are not actually "blind" they can see but use echolocation to travel and hunt. So, if they cannot see through walls they shouldnt be able to see through flesh. Also also the sound is what comes back to them and thats how our bat can tell how many cubs by sensing how many sound waves bounce back. Sex doesnt change the way sound travels therefore he wouldnt be able to tell the sex of the cubs involved.

Okay. I still believe it would be extremely useful. I admit I was wrong.

Yes! I've stopped using the ultrasound so I don't waste SB, but if it told me the gender then I could prepare space for more males

It's an interesting concept, but maybe something that could be turned on or off? Since I really love the surprise of what cubs I get~

Also even if it was ultrasound - you really can't see feline fetuses' gender using it. Did you ever checked newborn kittens' gender? It doesn't work that way XD If you ever did you know why
