I had concerns about this when the news post dropped; I don't think users should be able to negatively influence how my energy bar functions (it's easily abusable; blocking users doesn't prevent them from attack you so being mobbed by people who have rabies is definitely a real thing). Even if it is 20sb-- that's a bone marrow a day in order to correct the problem and seeing as people can give you rabies multiple times a day and you can only buy one marrow... I've already been attacked consistently by one user who seems determined to give me rabies when they get it and I'm not only losing my energy but I'm losing my event currency. This is not fun to wake up to. I want to focus on gathering beetles, not having to check my lion for rabies every hour because one player is being a jerk because staff pretty much gave them the go-ahead. Energy should not be touched, ever. Thanks for coming to my Ted-talk. |

As I've said before it shouldn't be partially stoppable. The event needs to be the same event for everyone. Either participate in it or don't, you can't just have the good aspects of the event and ignore the rest! If it's not enjoyable then it needs to be changed for Everybody, not just a select few. ^-^ Tips for now though : Don't cure every time you get rabies. Wait until you'll be logging off for the last time cure the rabies to feed your king. You can't be affected by players if you already have it. If you have a bit more spare time you can get back online before you even refill to 80 energy, so none is 'wasted'. I know they don't cure the problem but it may help a little. Personally 20 energy isn't that big of a deal to me expecially as you often come across things in explore that give you +15 energy etc so that's enough for me. Pretty much every player wakes up to having rabies during the event, it doesn't matter if a player is targeting you specifically, chances are you'll get it anyway (although if someone is targeting you in anyway you should report them ^-^) If the 20 energy is a real big issue it needs to be changed for everyone imo 0 players like this post! There doesn't need to be a potentially abusable feature for users to harass others with. I believe Staff has even urged users, towards the event end, to cure their rabies before it's over because rabies A) lasts post-event B) is hard to be rid of post event Like...that's ridiculous. I've seen so many newbie inactive accounts that have had rabies for months and that shouldn't even be a thing. I don't want tips, I wanna be able to gather my beetles in peace without worrying about people who attack other people with rabies "for fun" or whatever. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I wasn't replying to the main post, I was replying to the other replies where people say it should be an option. You completely got the wrong end of the stick from my post. I am saying it shouldn't be an option, it should be the same for everyone. If it needs to be changed then it needs to be changed for everyone. But there is no positive to having rabies so it's not really an option. Everyone would turn it off if the other players would all have 20 more energy than them (and they get nothing/no advantage for having it) in which case the entire mechanic should be changed so it's a fun feature and not a hinderance that everyone wants rid of idk if that clears my point up at all? 0 players like this post!
