I have seen a lot of people struggling with rabies ;v; as awesome as rabies is, it is all too easy for it to get old. From attacking other players and infecting them that way, to losing/winning a battle with rabid animals and obtaining it like that. These are all great ways to get rabies, but the only way to get rid of rabies is by using a Devil's claw, which you can by from the Blood Beetle shack for 2 GB. The item has four uses, which is all right and well.. But those four uses can vanish within one day, 2 BB may not seem like a lot due to it being so easy to obtain, but it gets pretty old having to constantly treat your king, explore, or walk away for two hours, come back and see your king has it again! It gets frustrating, especially since you can't feed your king(Though this also can work in stat peeps' favor, spamming eggs or Honeycomb). The suggestion is simple, give rabies a cooldown! It could be anywhere from 2 to 12 hours in between infection periods. This gives players plenty of time to feed their king(via exploring) and take a break from the rabid insanity that comes with the frothy mouth and red eyes! A quick addition to the cooldown idea is make it so that players can only infect a person, or people once per day via attacking. Another idea is that you can only get infected in explore during the day! Since most of the rabid animal encounters pop up in the day time(I know they also pop up at night, but the night creatures can semi-prevent their appearance). It wouldn't be terribly hard to do so and you'd still be susceptible to infection via player attacks, regardless of the time of day! Lemme know y'all's thoughts and feel free to give constructive criticism or additional ideas to make the suggestion better! :D |

Funnily enough, I haven't gotten rabies a single time during this event. Support anyway, because when I got rabies last year it was a bit frustrating to have to re-cure it over and over. 0 players like this post! Like? |
