MANES? YOU WANT MANES? I'VE GOT MANES!

A simple project: breed-only manes of all kinds, from combos to maneaters to celestial lions. These mane colors are meant to really invigorate mane breeding- there aren't too mane BO manes to choose from, and it's just odd that the Leonid girls of summer 2019 got Zer mane. There are more ideas for types of manes in here as well. With all of these your breeding projects will legitimately never run out of options, I promise.

None of these manes are ORIGINAL colors- instead, all of these manes are ingame bases that lack manes of their own as of now. All of the manes mimic texture, colors, ETC to match their given base. The manes are previewed with an unaltered version of their base, except for Cinnabar, which is previewed for better viewing with Slot One: Henna Glaze 60%, Slot Two: Feline 3 Auburn 80%, Slot Three: Coral Soft Unders, and Slot Four: Bone Underfelt. RAFFLE MANES: CINNABAR WHEN VERSION

Exactly what it says on the tin- these manes are for raffle lionesses! They'll be spread on raffle girls like all the other raffle colors- you might recognize Ebony, Pearl, or Orchid as a few? To match all other raffle colors, these are based off of breed-only rares and raffle breed-only specials.

The selection is Cinnabar, Dinar, Haze, Sulphur, and Teardrop. They're below the cut:



COMBO MANES: YES, EVEN PULSAR VERSION

Five combo bases have manes, and the rest don't. Elysian got a combo mane to go with it later on and the other, older combos didn't. This isn't fair- in my opinion every combo base ingame should have a mane with the same 50% chance to roll when the combo base rolls, and it doesn't make sense for only SOME combos to have this feature. It'd be difficult to add this many combo manes at once so my best guess is to work from oldest to newest? They would work just like the current manes of combo bases, having a half chance to roll naturally when the combo rolls, and then passing like a regular mane. Temporal & Pulsar manes would pass like a regular mane as well.

CELESTIAL MANES: YOU'RE HERE FOR SUNSET VERSION

Celestial manes? Breed-only? Yes, in my house, and here's why: it's an easy way to keep interest in the bases alive. Sunset will soon be three years old, and is certainly still popular- but with the concept of breeding a double Sunset base hype can be reignited in a different way without, you know, ruining people's breeding projects. You know what I'm talking about if you know. Giving old BO bases (and Sunrise + Leonid barely count as old anyway) more matching BO friends will guarantee people breed them for longer. Also, manes in general need more love. Plus, manes aren't that hard to breed, for people worried about the trouble breeding things in this breeding sim- mane colors pass at 50/50 per parent color, which means in a litter of two you'll probably have one with the color you want.

These manes will appear randomly on Celestial Raffle girls, with a 50% chance per generated lioness for the algorithm to select one of these BO manes rather than a common color. The selection is Sunset, Sunrise, and Leonid, all under the spoiler cut.



MANEATER MANES

Simple! These manes are on August maneater designs and pass from them as normal. The selection is Ruffian and Scoundrel.



HYBRID MANES

For the people who want to fill the hybrid-shaped holes in their heart because the FAIR AND BALANCED hybrid bases aren't easy for people without an abundance of leopons all over their pride like lots of players can TOTALLY achieve to pass it with. These manes would pass at the usual rates rather than 1 in 500 like their parent base's scries do at the current time.

These two manes are Kimanjano and Mandarin. I could accept these as gorilla enclave apps, for the same price as Crescent Moon and the eye apps. Their alternative breed-only distribution would be on firstgen hybrids, to replace Dark Golden and Nacarat as default manes, but that might be an issue as it'd take months for the mane to spread at all- maybe you could modbox firstgens to get the mane applied manually if you wanted? Gorilla would be easier for everyone.



NCL EXCLUSIVE MANES!

This is my favorite idea out of them all!

50% of NCLs with the corresponding NCL special will also generate the same mane color to match their base, and then pass it down normally. The selection is of course Asali, Dhababi, Maziwa, and Mobola.



GROUPIE MANES

Wine is NO LONGER ALL ALONE- We've got three new groupie bases in town! These happen at a 50% rate on groupies with the corresponding base color, or would randomly pop up on groupies or something. They could also be raffle lioness mane colors. Under the cut is Wine, Nudar, Sunspot, and Sahara.
