The color contrast is a bit too sharp to me; maybe brighten the dark blue or darken the brighter blue? And the patterning on the second version looks more like it should be a marking instead of being part of a base. I love the concept though!

It can be changed if lioden makes it a base, but the speckles are supposed to be part of the base to represent algae. And ty!

I'm with Entity on this. I could see some brighter blue in 'points' like highlights on the ears, tail, snout, and toes, but I feel that the legs just bring too much light blue into the equation. When it comes to the speckles, I feel that they should be blended into the base a bit more. They feel too reminiscent of a Brawl mark for my taste.

Dunno how they feel like brawl markings but I might darken it later on anywho, the light blue was mainly just to counteract the dark colors but I guess nobody really likes the light blue

It reminds me of Brawl in the sense that it's a great many small, prominent, concentrated smudges covering a large area of the body. Not saying it looks like exactly Brawl, just that it's a heavy reminder.

On the light blue, it's not that it's a bad color, just too much contrast for the rest of the body. It'd fit good on a lighter base or in lighter amounts.
