She taught herself how to use a sling to hunt small prey, but since her broodmother forbade her from using weapons, she kept it a secret and hid her sling in a hollowed out tree stump. She met one of her good friends, Brynn, during this time and fell in love with his dragon. She vowed there and then to get her own pet dragon.
Teen years: When she was old enough, Alber was forced to become a Yaavan apprentice due to the herd’s needs, but she ended up hating it. After years of misery, she gave up and switched to the profession of her real passion, being a Vara.
Adult years: After switching to the Vara profession, Alber finally found her place and happiness. Despite only just switching to her new profession, Alber hopes to rank up quickly. She’s already proficient with certain weapons (though nobody knows), and she can’t wait to show what she knows.

A near-death experience was 'enjoyed' after he kicked open a bee's hive and quickly learned he was specifically allergic to their stings. After that nightmarish day, he stayed mostly home.

Briefly explain life story: Previously much more energetic and exploratory, past events have interred a caution to his lifestyle. Growing up, he was frequently getting into trouble, purely out of curiosity and his desire to see new and fantastic places. One trait he has not lost is the love of the most simple things; a day spent exploring a fallen log, a tumble of rocks, or an owl's nest. But after getting progressively further and further away from home with each consecutive day, he experienced an incident where curiosity brought him to the heart of a bee's nest. In the resulting pain and panic, he attempted to flee into the forest, discovering an unfamiliar portion, and breaking a leg after a tumble down a cliff he had seen too late. A foraging centaur brought him back to his parents, covered in stings and with toxins coursing through a battered body. It took him weeks to recover physically, but since then, as he advanced into teen years, a stronger respect and caution entered his exploratory phase and he recognizes the importance of having others nearby to help.

That's fair! XD I thought Hinnies were the donkeys but those are Jennies, aren't they?

the stallion can add color to the mare, so there's flex in terms of genetic expression on the hinnies so I'm open to things that are realistic in that matter (No homozygous Tobianos)

With real life examples you're completely fine! She fits within the design parameters we're looking for so she should be good!

Yup! Jennies are donkey moms! Hinnies are born from mom donkey X stallion (mules are dad donkey X mare) but they're not as common/known about since they're more accidentally bred

So genetics and color are essencially the same question. X3 Genetics are the makeup of the horse, color is the phenotypical expression of it.

So I'm going to assume he's black based for easibility. I'd call him a varnish appaloosa cause I'm not seeing the blanket or leopard spotting, either. So what he'd be is

Gray over Black varnish Appaloosa.

Eventually he'll be all white as he ages, but I've seen horses grey out like in the picture so you're all good there! As for genetics I'd pin him as Ee/aa/Gg/Lplp which is one copy of the black gene, none of the bay gene, one copy of the gray gene and one copy of appaloosa.

Also for religions I'm.. I haven't.. All the gods here will be made up, so there's no quite greek mythology quite. He'd know a retelling of a retelling of a retelling if that makes sense. Just keep that in mind if he's heavily religious.

Our timeline is about 1000 years post humans, so there's been some time for information to get lost, rediscovered, and retold. xD <3

Thank you and I can work with the religious stuff. Usually he believes in Fate/Life/Destiny and when he prays, he'll say "To those out there who can hear me...". And yeah, he's based off the one in the 3rd link but with more of a grey/white coat due to the greying out gene (hair is naturally black)
