So yes I wanna suggest a decor for anyone trying to make Trico or just mythical lions in general: Bird feet!

Or they can be ostrich feet?

Also, we could use poses for male lions, like Mysterious (sitting down, seemingly in thought or looking at the sky) or similar to the female poses.
