So I'm a semi lit to lit role player with just under 10 years experience.
I live in ireland so we have the same time zone ( always a good thing 😊😊)
I love fantasy, Mythology, side plot romance etc. Plot building and world building is a hobby of mine ❤️.
I however only play as female characters ( main) if doing a side character I can play male.
I can provide a roleplay sample of required. I only rp in third person.
I like to have an ooc chat with my rp partner when roleplaying but not required.

I do have some fandoms I play from, mostly video games but I also do books and movies. Some examples of my fandoms would be LOTR, The Hobbit, Mass Effect, The Witcher ( I play Ciri and yen) and The changeling series by Steve Feasey.

I also rp in Red dead redemption both one and two as well as Harry Potter however it's been a long time since I have read the books.

I often go by Shadow and I've been Rping for about 8 years this September. I am a full-time college student, but my replies are never incredibly spacey unless it's test week. (I will always let you know)
I will only Rp MxF and only female. Rping males makes me uncomfortable, but if it's for snippets of the RP I really don't mind.
I will only do mature content or mature topics if my Rp partner is over 18 like myself. Not limited to certain relations between characters but also extreme violence if needed ^.^
I like to have a plot that is firm but flexible, have our characters build it up instead of just us. If things get flat I'd like to start a new RP or shelf it and come back when we both have ideas

I have several examples of what I can do! I always post match with my partner. If it's a sentence I will have a sentence if you send me a word document you bet I'll send one back:

Example 1:
Over 2 months spent within the bumpy carriage of a horse, up at 6 am to ride until 12 pm. It wasn't the most ideal form of transportation, but with the railroads a thing of the future it was the only way. The boat ride of a week wasn't any better, the sea feeling more welcoming than what she was to go to. Catherine had been quiet the entire 2 and a half month trip, not once speaking out of term or making a fuss when the rain fell and caused mud to collect on her travel dress. Lucky for her, her father had packed her a more... appropriate outfit. One to show off the royalty and wealth the family had.
There she was. walking along side her father down the halls of a castle she did not know. She had spent a year practicing her english to try and eliminate her accent as much as possible. Her father would not have it any other way. The two walked into the main hall, the throne of the English King and Queen felt so far from her. She walked in with her heels clicking gently in step with her father. A beautiful tyrian purple dress hung quiet well along the natural contours of her body, gold lacing the very bottom and the top of her dress. When they arrived before the King and Prince, who resided in the Queens chair, both she and the king bowed.
"It is my humble honor to have accepted your invitation to your beautiful home" the King began before standing up straight and putting a hand on his daughters back "This is Catherine, my only surviving child with Marietta of Scottland" he said to them both. Catherine took a little breath before bowing gently, keeping her face as neutral as possible while in the presence of the foreign royalty. "It is a pleasure to meet you both" she told them in perfect english, though her accent hinted slightly on a few words

Example 2:
This was an unusual task for her; as she was usually sent to private resident homes and caught them in the day when they were in hiding. But not this hunt. Tonight she was hunting one of the most wanted vampires. She had proven herself well as a vampire hunter, having started at 14 and grown in the life of the hunt. She had watched him carefully at the bar, blending in as one of the bar tenders, serving him a few drinks as a way to ensure she had the right face, watching him closely as he moved to the woman. The next target. She had watched as they danced and carefully slipped out. That was her cue. She slipped out of the bar tender outfit and slipped on a mask, one commonly worn by the hunters to show they were protectors of humanity. She threw a hat on as well to hold up her hair, as female hunters were a rare sight. She followed them down the path carefully from behind, keeping a good distance so neither would turn back to see her. Within her coat and suit were weapons upon weapons. Silver bullets and silver tipped blades, carefully polished with more silver just for the extra death blow. Once they got to the house, she awaited the woman to enter the house before a knife pierced into his shoulder, the silver blade would cause a burning sensation. At the throw of the knife she moved to the side quickly to get out of his field of vision, instead rushing to the window and knocking on it to get the girls attention

Example 3:
Days went by, and that feeling of awaiting him to walk through the doors began to drift. She couldn't quiet pinpoint the feeling that arose in her when she heard the little ring of the door open. Fear? Anxiety? Anticipation? She wasn't sure. All she knew was when she did hear that ring, her heart felt as though it grew to feel her chest cavity and her throat tightened some. By the 5th day the feeling finally surpassed and she figured he wouldn't be stopping by. She was relived at the very thought, she could finally relax and start to push that night to the back of her head. It had happened- she wont deny that. but she could move on past it.... couldnt she??
By the 7th day, Rosaline was one of the very first people into work. but instead of working the front counter she had been tasked with doing runs. Whenever an order was placed from a driver, Rosaline had to run it out to the parking lot and deliver each meal to each car. Why people couldn't come in for a latte or a macchiato was beyond her... but she was getting paid to just walk back and forth so how could she complain? She had a massive order by the time Hunter had reached the store, grabbing three carriers of all different types of drinks and rushing them out to the parking lot to deliver them all to their specific cars. She got a few mixed up, a lot of her time being burned as she tried to fix the mistakes left and right.
When Hunter approached the front counter it was another worker, a very tall red head stood there chewing away at gum and texting on her phone. When he spoke she looked up and rose a brow, putting her phone down and plugging in his order on the machine without much thought to her actions. She looked a teenager with the way she stood, the way she chewed and the light evidence of acne all around her face. At his question she kinda shifted her eyes up to him "Uh no. I haven't even heard of that and I work at a coffee store" she said with a bit of a snarky tone as she looked to the register and sighed "We have Raspberry, Grape, Strawberry, Blueberry and Blackberry. We ran out of Apricot just a few days ago so...." she shrugged at him and watched him as she awaited him to pick from the options hse listed or just decide he didn't need any jams.
Rosaline walked in with two drinks in her hands "Mary? These two drinks aren't correct the customer ordered-" her steps and voice alike stopped at the exact same time, instead a gasp escaping her lips as the drinks fell right out of her hands, both landing on the floor and causing the liquid to splash all over the floor, her shoes and the bottom of her pants. Her eyes were widened in surprise as she stared at Hunter with her body stiffened in slight shock. He was here. After a second she blinked and looked down at the mess she had made, hands slowly lowering and she cleared her voice
"uhm. The-the tea was supposed to.... be peppermint and the latte only one expresso shot" she stuttered before she immediately crouched down to try and clean up her mess, feeling embarrass due to her little slip up.
He was here. she couldn't even get that out of her head he had actually come and here she was thinking he'd forgotten or was just joking. Why was she thinking about it so much? It shouldn't matter he was just another customer wasn't he??? Someone to take the order from, serve and never see again. She bit her her lip gently as she tried to clean up her mess. The woman at the counter rolled her eyes and chuckled over a roll of paper towels to help Rosaline before her gaze shifted back to Hunter, chewing her gum a bit obnoxiously as she awaited his order

I'm not exactly good at these introductions and never have been so I'll skip past the hellos.


𝒜𝒷𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝑀𝑒

◦  I enjoy roleplaying quite a bit and take the male role in almost all of my characters and typically have to be convinced to play anything different or have to be particularly inspired into creating a female character.

◦  I love typing intros when I have the motivation to do so. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to an intro, however, and it may end up taking a bit of time to create something I'm proud of.

◦ I enjoy Alternate History roleplays, or ones set in the past with more fantasy themes.

◦  I match my partner's reply length as best I can, though generally I make it a rule to post at least one paragraph per character. Though this can also fluctuate due to the type of day I'm having.

◦  I'm looking for a long-term roleplay that won't die out immediately. Not getting to see the ending of a story tends to irritate me greatly..that, or when someone just ghosts me without telling me they'd like to end the roleplay. If the roleplay grows uninteresting to you, or is no longer inspiring of new ideas, I'd prefer to have that told to me directly.

◦  Though I try to be snappy with my replies, life gets in the way sometimes and won't allow me to. However, I prefer to let people know when I'm having this difficulty so I'll make sure to do the same for you.

◦  My current residence is in Switzerland, however I will be in the US for an extended period of time in a few days. Yet I find that this doesn't impede my ability to communicate with other friends and acquaintances I have in the UK.

◦  I prefer to stick to the themes set by my roleplay partner, so anything labeled as discomforting by you is fully recognized. (Which I believe every polite person does as well, though we've all had that one person in our lives.)

◦ I will not roleplay canon characters and prefer any fandom roleplays to be spin-off stories wherein the canon character's aren't mentioned or, in the case of world-changing superheroes, are at most passively mentioned.

I have more that are unlisted. If our fandoms don't match up, I do enjoy checking out new properties or even trying out a roleplay without needing to be an intense fan of said property. I just need to be explained the concept, general rules, and have a bit of patience on your part if you really want to roleplay something I don't understand.


What I Will RP;

◦ Nearly anything, though certain themes make me extremely uncomfortable. Such as suicide, spouse-centered abuse, and (on the fetish side of the spectrum) inflation or extreme obesity.

◦ Usually I find myself playing humanoid characters, though I do roleplay animals and mythical beasts at times.

What I Won't RP;

◦ The aforementioned themes that make me uncomfortable.
◦ I tend to not rp romances, though will adapt to my partner's preferences.
◦ Female characters. Some exceptions apply (as mentioned before).

Plot Ideas;

Not too good at the general thinking up of two main leads, but I do love to apply backstories to them...Sooo, I've taken the liberty to pick a few of your plot ideas and list a bit of lore to them that I believe would be cool.

◦ Merfolk x Sailor
The year is 1675, the Golden Era of Piracy. Maritime exploration and pillaging runs rampant, along with the stories of blasted sea creatures that bring crews of men to their doom. The current global climate leaving the English and Dutch cold towards one another...Yet the French in even deeper hostilities with the Dutch.

Due to a wars still being fought, navies were ever present...along with their shipwrecks.

The sailor could be of various walks of life. A pirate, soldier, or mercenary. He could even be a simple fisherman.
The merfolk in this scenario, seeing the growing and heinous violence humans enact against one another, would be inherently skeptical of saving a human being. They, as a species, may even discuss killing the sailor or entrapping him on an island with no chance of escape to keep him from spreading tales of where they were. It all depends on the interactions between man and...man-fish.

◦ Royal x Poor
This would make for a generally easy fish-out-of-water story in which a member of the royal family is forced to flee the castle due to a violent and bloody coup/people's uprising. The country is plunged into a rather unfortunate dictatorship that is hellbent on finding and killing the last royal. (A story akin to Anastasia except the royal is old enough that they know what's happening to their country.)
The royal finds a peasant (or a term of equal class to such) and the interaction starts.

◦ Superhero x Supervillain
I have a few ideas for this, though it largely depends on who the characters are and what type of archetypes they fill. I imagine this to be in a BNHA style universe, but perhaps set in a different country than Japan? It'd be interesting to see heroes less commonplace, thus negating the need for too many characters but leaving open the chance to have more if one chooses to.

I'd love to RP with you. My main activitys on discord. Out of your list I'd like to do Pokemon, HTTYD or DBH. I have loads of plots for the three but I'm on mobile right now. I try to post at least a paragraph but sometimes low muse hits me.
