You may or may not have heard about this but recently two of the three living white giraffes on Earth were poached at the nature reserve they lived on. I was personally extremely moved by this and feel like their should be an encounter added in honor of her.

This isn't the only thing either. Trophy hunting/poaching is an extremely common practice where people will kill rare marked or fancy species (ie: lions/buffaloes or albinos) simply to say they did it or to get that unique coat taxidermied. This can be seen in things such as the live action movie Mowgli, where Bhoot was killed and mounted.

Anyways, I think their should be a few different encounters added that feature unique animals' encounters with poachers. Similar to December but much less happy.

Encounter 1: White Giraffe
Appearance CONCEPT ART NEEDED - A poacher crouched beside a deceased giraffe, knife in hand, cutting the pelt from it. Half the corpse is bloody, similar to the zebra encounter, and the other half is white fur. Perhaps a single bloody spot on the neck for a bullet hole.

"You stumble upon a poacher in the middle of skinning an white giraffe. Those darn poachers can't even leave the special animals alone!"
Option 1 - Charge
Result 1 - RARE - "You scare the poachers off, but unfortunately it's too late for this poor giraffe. As you begin to pad off, you notice it's baby hiding in the brush. Gently nudging the calf it lets out a little noice. It's cute, maybe you should keep it safe until it's old enough to avoid poachers" [+1 Injured white giraffe calf]
Result 2 - "You scare the poachers off, but unfortunately it's too late for this poor giraffe. You might not have saved this one but hope to be able to save more like it in the future."
Result 3 - Initiate fight with poacher

Option 2 - Hide and Wait
Result - "You hide behind a nearby rock and wait for the poacher to finish and leave, then you pad up to the giraffe and take all meat you can salvage. [+4 Large meat chunks, -5 Karma]

Encounter 2: King Cheetah
Appearance CONCEPT ART NEEDED - A poacher crouched down behind a pile of brush or behind a tree, aiming his gun at a cheetah. The cheetah is sitting in the distance, facing away so it's unique back stripes are visible.

"This poacher appears to be getting ready to shoot a strange looking cheetah - a least you think it's a cheetah."

Option 1 - Chase off
Result 1 - "You charge at the poacher, giving him a good scare as he scrambles to get his supplies and leave. You look to go and talk to the strange cheetah, but he's already gone! Oh well, at least the man kicked up some beetles in his panic." [+2 RB, +2 PP]
Result 2 - "You charge at the poacher, giving him a good scare as he scrambles to get his supplies and leave. You pad up to the strange cheetah and educate him on the dangers of poachers. He thanks you and leaves." [+3 PP]
Result 3 - "You go to charge at the poacher, but right as you go to move a loud shot rings through the air, followed by a roar. You were too late, the cheetah now lays on the ground, dead."
Result 4 - "You charge at the poacher, knocking him down and tearing him apart. Turning, you notice the cheetah had came forwards and was now praising your bravery. You puff up a bit and he askes if you could protect him. Well, of course you could!" [+3 PP, +1 Royal Cheetah decor]
