Announcement For the Future - Posted on Discord Yesterday
Well shiz... I've been inactive for a while, huh?

I have to apologize profusely for that, however, I also must regret to inform you that due to some real world complications I am going to have to do a slight shift in how I run things:

- "Normal" Explores will be shortened considerably from what I originally planned. They will likely now only be a few choices a pop before you receive a Linwurm.
- I will be changing my Explore slots from two of each (Normal and RPG) to 2 RPG and 1 Normal explore once I have caught back up.
- Due to complications, I will be taking a 'break day' every Friday. During this time, I will be unable to proceed with Explore and will be largely inactive.

I am so sorry for the long wait... but I should be back to the regular grove by tomorrow! I look forward to it :heart:

You duck behind a stalagmite and hide! Its not long after that a shape emerges from the middlemost tunnel. It takes you a moment before you realize... this is a Linwurm! The mottled grey patterning makes the beast's shape hard to distinguish at first... but it's certainly there! Perhaps you can convince it to join you?

Tasman chuckles to himself, stating how popular the area has been lately. He rises and stretches before setting off at a quick pace, causing you to have to keep a jog to keep up with the beast. Tasman dips and dodges around wooded terrain that quickly shifts to a more open area. Ahead, a mountain lies. But Tasman does not stop here, he dips off to the great Mountains left and continues down onto a beach-like area. He stops here and turns to you:

"Tide's low right now, if you're quick you can cross the bank here and get to the Wastes... er, the desert before the wastes without having to go through the mountain!" He nods his head across the barely there trail of sand, "Best get to it!"

You run quickly across the sank bank, Tasman hollering his farewells from somewhere behind you. You nearly slip on the soft sand, your feet sinking into the stuff and shifting your weight and balance. A wave comes and laps at your ankles, but, besides that, you manage to cross rather quickly into this desert area.

The sun beats heavily overhead, and a buzzard circles above. You have to squint against the harsh sun rays that cause the terrain in the distance to warp as a result of the heat. But, you do think you have made out your rough area. Ahead... it looks like their might be another mountain range, far, far in the distance. To your left, a sandy expanse, the area dotted with cacti. To your right, a sea. Well... what to do now?

You start off and explore ahead of your position. There... well, there isn't to much to see to be honest. Lots of sand, lots of cacti, and a few lizards. The mountains ahead don't seem to be getting any closer, regardless of how far forward you move. Eventually... you reach a rather unique area, or, at least you think its unique.

A large crater stands in the desert. It's sides are rough, jagged stone with a porous look to it. You are sure that animals - rodents, lizards, and others - must live in these nooks and crannies. As you gaze around the area, you notice something on the opposite end of the crater. A burst of color, in an otherwise rather monochromatic space. The longer you look, the more you can see, and eventually, the pieces come together: this is a Linwurm!

You do so. Moving quietly and carefully, you creep your way around the massive crater. Once within about 15 feet of the beast, the Linwurm turns its head to look at you, its eyes narrowed and full of mistrust. It takes a step back from the edge of the crater to face you, head lowered and gaze focused.
