ANYWAYS. ive got this boy i made like... a few years ago? after listening to Hollow by Cloudeater but i cannot for the life of me give him a good design, everytime i draw him it looks like Generic Western Dragon so i figure ill leave it up to others. hes a reluctant immortal whose jealous of the living after dying from natural causes and being resurrected + hes perpetually angry.


RULES;

- im lookin' for a feral design, no anthro please
- looking for original art i.e. no pre-made lineart
- since i plan on getting more art of him in the future i'd prefer a ref sheet or a very clear fullbody
- you can enter as much as you want but to keep things fair you can only win once (if someone gets first place another of their designs cant also get second place)

WHAT I LIKE -

- things that move with emotions (ex; quills that stand up when startled or a frill that unfolds when angy)
- gradient marks? not sure if thats what theyre called but lets say the tip of the tail is white and the base is black and you got different shades of grey between as it goes from one from the other
- big old chompers, love me some teeth
- i generally prefer scaled designs over feathered/fur because i find them easier to draw but if you wanna try feathers or fur go for it :)
- stuff thats weird/creative! maybe theres 3 sets of eyes. maybe the jaw splits. get as experimental as you want

WHAT I DON'T LIKE

- bright primary colors. by this i mean neon, if you wanna make em mainly orange go for it as long as its something paler like ginger and doesnt burn my eyes. bright colors are fine as secondary/tertiary markings though
- this is more of a pet peeve but inaccurate membrane wings
- overly complicated designs with like 27 different kinds of markings
