I have had that problem with all dogs :) With my little dog, I had to put the kitties water up on the bar, that worked out :) After he passed I had to put it in the bathroom so that my Redbone wont get to it, she don't go back there. but the cat does :) That is all good :) My dog goes out so many times through out the day so she has a huge water bowl outside that she goes too :) Sometimes she just goes out to only get a drink :) ![]() |

Ugh Donna my longhair cat does too, dipping her paws in the water, and she will leave fur swirling around in the water and its gross and I have to check my cats water 5 times a day to make sure she didn't leave fur clumps because then the others will drink and get hairballs... Spooky is such a cute name though! ![]() Edited on 07/02/21 @ 23:10:55 by Star Watcher (#208207) |

The animals like the other’s food more than their own so we have to feed them at the same time or one will hover but they both scare each other so they’ll go away and they’ll eat the other’s food ![]() |

Dogs really don't need to eat cat food, it is not really all they need but it wont hurt them but, a cat gets a certain vitamin for there eyes from cat food.. so it is not really good for them just to get like dog food or human food alone.. they do need what cats eat.. ![]() |

I don’t think the cats need to be eating kibble the size of their noses ![]() |

The smaller it is the better for their digestion.. There is a certain kind that helps with like hairballs and all.. Mine eats mainly the indoor stuff. like mainly the cat chow indoor.. I prefer to get the Naturals indoor but when that is not available I get the normal Cat chow Indoor for her :) It helps a LOT :) She does not hack up any hairballs any more at all :) Those are little bitty peace's :) ![]() |
