I'm explaining my no support in the good faith that no one is going to form a mob lmao. Things have been pretty testy in the forums lately.

Lioden is very clearly stated that it's a 16+ site. The subjects of the events isn't for the feint of heart and the sole themes around LD aren't exactly meant to be sensitive. This game isn't meant to be played by those who cannot handle mature themes.
I think adding toggles and spoilers for everything on the site defeats the purpose of the game and distracts the admins from more important matters that they may have going on. It's a very neat suggestion and on other games that aren't Meant to be so mature I'd agree with it, but not on a game I believe is very largely mature content in its events and art.

I agree entirely with what Happy said in this instance. Fact is LD has kind of ended up the place where if someone disagrees with the mob, they just get attacked and ganged up on regardless of how logical their counter-argument is and even more so when, frankly, the OP of threads often just calls them out for not supporting and deciding they don't want to be ganged up on. Already as it is doing that is essentially attacking the no-support people preemptively, so it makes sense that the no-support people would decide only to click the button and not explain why. Especially on a thread basically going all "Funny how the no support people haven't come to say anything lol" or anything of that nature.

As for me I frankly don't support this myself and am in agreement with Flamers here. Fact of the matter is that LD is a 16+ website and is going to have content that may be unappealing, disturbing and sometimes upsetting. Asking everything that people merely "don't like" or bothers them to be given an option to censor just really seems entitled in my opinion. If people can't handle some of the themes that are and will potentially be shown and take place on a site meant for ages 16+, then maybe don't get on a site like that. Be an adult and instead of demanding more and more, just avoid what could potentially be seen as upsetting. Its really not that hard to do frankly and honestly is also less selfish than essentially asking or demanding for anything that a person doesn't like to be censored.

I understand your opinions but this wouldn't effect you if you chose not to use it, exactly like the current censor :)
I believe that 16+s can have triggers they don't want to see all the time (namely maggots, ticks, and lethals) and that was my main thought process for this suggestion <3

The maggots decor does make me want to vomit I've never like actively needed/asked for a censor but if the censor is there maggots go bye bye

I do agree with @Tick on one thing, I do hate OP's calling out no-supporters, the support system is anonymous for a reason and calling people out on not voicing why is just rude, it's a vote and you can't sit at the poll and be like hey whoever didn't vote for x tell me why now, just a little uncalled for. Not to offend you Cery because you have been keeping this this and civil unlike some OPs, just my opinion on the whole 'lol no supports are quiet' matter

I understand that totally, the only reason I called on them was because I want to be able to make my suggestion better :)

I don't attack people (I don't think I do, if I do it's not on purpose!) I'm just genuinely wanting to know their opinions and why they don't think something I do is good or why something I suggest isn't a bad idea.
If someone came on here and attacked you guys for no-supporting I'd prolly modbox cause you've all been very civil and I thank you for sharing how you feel with me! <3

I just thought of another potential use- blocking raunchy Feb encounters so you can continue the Feb grind even in public XD

I can handle most content just fine, but I think that's a use almost any player would appreciate <3

yes! support legit just to block the feb encounters lol. my opinions of the staff have improved since they implemented the marking toggle, but i still think it's hypocritical that they don't allow players to post sexual content, but they still force images onto players of lions literally fucking LOL like don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for people to be able to post sexual content (oh god, the roleplaying section would be absolutely horrendous), I'm just asking that if the site isn't going to follow its own rules, then at least we should have the option to block the hypocritical content that makes us uncomfortable

(and that's not even delving into my whole view of why the feb event has such incredibly inappropriate undertones given the premise of the game combining lions (specifically lionesses) with human-level intelligences with a matriarchal society that they don't even bother to portray as oppressive or unjust BUT that's just my feminism talking)
