There might have been a similar topic a few years ago, but I think it was for WIPS? honestly can't remember. anyways, show me your art progress!! it can be just a recurring piece that you draw, or a comparison of your oldest piece and your newest, whatever :') i just really like seeing how people develop their style over time (especially those of y'all that can go from coloring book to well versed artist in like two years, mad props), and sometimes it's really nice to just remind ourselves of our own progress and to see that others who we may look up to were once in a very similar place, even if we tend to put them up on a pedestal once in a while.

doesn't have to just be the traditional idea of art, too! if you're in to sculpting, woodworking, tattooing, poetry, hair styling, embroidery, origami, songwriting, man i wanna see it! there are more ways to be creative than with a pencil :)

i'll start this out with what prompted me to post this, then- i've been doing digital art since 2012 or so and of course the style change is wack, but specifically i was just looking at the difference between my character designing from 2015 to now :') top is a sketchy thing i sold in 2015, middle was a contest entry (?) in 2016, and bottom is a design i'm going to be auctioning off in a few days that i finished about ten minutes ago!
