Grace watched Wind leave, an unsettling feeling started to grow in the pit of her stomach. Maybe she should go after her and try to get her to come back. But the rain started to come down harder. Wind let out a howl in return, starting to dig out the abandoned fox den she had found. She wasn't abandoning her pack, but the pups were coming soon. The rain came down harder, right as she finished digging, as she crawled into the small den, panting from overexertion. While most dogs would have their mate hunt for them while the pups were young, and not able to move, Wind would have to do that all by herself until the pups were at least a month old, and with the flooding that was happening, she feared she would have to move them when they were much younger 0 players like this post! Wind rested her head on her paws, three figures next to her (that look like rats) stomach, the den protecting them from the rain. She gently licked the pups, curling her tail around them protectively, hoping that Grace would get the hint and not find where she was 0 players like this post! Like? |

Grace paced around her den before trotting out of it to check on the others. Wind got up uncertainly, not wanting to leave her pups alone in the den, but covering them with moss and feathers before getting up to go to camp to make sure she hadn't missed anything important. 0 players like this post! Like? |
