I mean we do have the ability to claim Wenet so I don't see any reason why it would be impossible to make a possibility to claim V'Kai for those interested. Plus since canonically speaking he's one of the player's fanboys, it would frankly make tons of sense if he might want to join your pride. Though I'd be curious to see what the reasons for otherwise would be. Since again, considering the canon of the event's story I just see this is making more logical sense than not as a possibility for the event's end.

And also, as much as I'd love to have V'Kai claimable, and practically every other NPC, I don't think we should add more claimable NPCs.

I think that changing V'Kai's mutation into a marking with a similar appearance (such as one of the vitiligo markings) would make it more realistic for him to be claimable.

As I see it, the difference between Wenet and her cousins is that, as adult females with no heritage, they cannot be sex-changed and thus if anyone wants a male with their looks to king has put in effort for it (that, and Wenet only has a single raffle marking, Coral Underfelt)

V'kai is already a male, and I cannot find it right now but his looks include a fair amount of raffle markings, which means anyone could use him as a heir and make those markings he has... be less special. Here you can see his design, which includes White Crackle and Feline 2, 3 and 6 Ginger. Even taking off the piebald and swapping it for a white Vitiligo - yet another raffle marking - would not make it any less harming, I think, and it would devalue the effort players have put with them already.

Hmm.. yes I did not realize that was part of the concern. Maybe if there was a way to make him un-kingable? Such as how certain mutations can not be kinged.

I know I am making a lot of stretches here, but I really think that V'Kai would be a very nice claimable NPC

To me it seems it would be easier to use a translucent jellyfish on any of your pride members then equip a V'kai decor or custom decor than go through the coding trouble of making an unbreedable V'kai :/

One thing I did before, I took a lioness, make her invisible with the Jellyfish, then put a V'Kai decor on her and named her V'Kai. so it kind of looked like you had V'Kai in your pride, while not ACTUALLY having him in your pride. XD Or you could do it for a submale too, if you wanted.

If you add in the rules of no mutation, no kinging and no sex-changing and just had him in your pride bc he's super cute that makes total sense!
