Alternatively, if she doesn't come pre-equipped with a lab frog and tiger eye, maybe lore-wise the adult female version of him you claim could be his mom or some other relative? Perhaps even a flavor text from the in-game V'kai saying something like "Vash always says I look like our mom."

Beyond the obvious reasons of him being king-able as a submale and having a mutation, I'm already a bit skeeved out by V'kai flirting with my lion, considering there is an entire line in their story that says the following:



He is a teenager. He is not an adult. Your lion is an adult.

Claiming is done with adult lionesses and the process is by flirting if you read the text during claiming... The male groupies you get during this event are just that. Groupies. Teenage fans of yours who join the pride hoping to be like their favorite champion. You are not flirting with them to get them to join. That would be Very Weird and Uncomfortable.

But!
I do think it would be nice if you got a specific storyline background, however, for siding with Vash or V'kai in the final chapter.

Perhaps siding with V'kai shows a BG of Vash and V'kai relaxing side by side and cuddling on the rocks behind you, spending quality time.

Perhaps siding with Vash shows V'kai and Vash in the background, the younger lion taking his brother's training more seriously after your talk.

Abbey recently said that Vkai is intended to be a young adult, I think 18-20, so technically in the teenager range but not a minor. Could still be seen strangely, but he's canonically not a kiddo at least.

I think it would be a cute idea so I'm not no supporting, but I'm not supporting either due to all the issues that could arise.

Good to know. That info should probs be posted somewhere or the text altered a little to reflect that coz I've always felt weirded out by the "Hoped you'd pick me" and "Only if they're like you" dialogs.

Doesn’t that mess with the storyline though? If you have been trying to close the rift between Vkai and his brother the entire month and then he just goes and joins your pride it feels a bit strange.
