Okay, so there were protests in the city that my parents live in that were peaceful. Until like midnight, the riots started and went on till like 3AM. So they put a curfew in place, just to make sure nothing like that happened again. Instead of listening the protesters refused to leave the downtown area, so the city and state cops used tear gas and smoke bombs (I think?) as a deterrent. State militia was also there. I don't understand why people can't realize why all this is happening. I agree wholeheartedly that racism is still a major issue among the states, and I support the peaceful protests 100%. But the rioters come and ruin everything by painting a bad picture of those that are trying to fight for equal rights. It's a load of bull 0 players like this post! Like? |

Shay, I agree with ya! Don't you worry okay? You will be safe as long as you stay at home and make sure to stay away from what looks like violent protests. But, I wish we could spread awareness by like not protesting. Racism is wrong yes there are other ways to combat racism than riots. Also Welcome Sauti! 0 players like this post! Like? |
