She is a long, light-silver she-cat with a grey colour-point fur pattern. Her eyes are the colour of the sea. She is incredibly soft with long, fluffy fur as well as a long tail.

Even as a kit, Seapaw was rather quiet and gentle. She didn’t partake in rough play and preferred to watch from the sidelines. This sometimes meant that she would be left alone by herself, which she didn’t always enjoy. However, whenever she did try to force herself to enjoy games that she would typically stay away from it never ended well, and eventually she stopped trying to join in altogether.

Funnily enough, warriors spooked Seapaw when she was younger. She always found them rather intimidating, and she never understood their seeming desire to fight. She was never very violent, treating others in a soft and kind manner that she still possesses this day. This is a large part of why she chose to be a medicine cat apprentice. It took her a while to realise that there were other paths that she could take in the clan that would be less violent than being a warrior. This means that for the first couple of moons of her apprenticeship, she was training to be a warrior. Perhaps she also felt pressured to be one, as both of her siblings were well on their way to becoming warriors and she didn’t want to feel left out. However… it quickly became very obvious that she was not meant to be a warrior. Frankly, she could have even been called a failure.

Despite that, Seapaw pushed on, convinced that if she just tried harder in her training, she could become more like a warrior and get over her dislike of fighting and killing living beings. After all, no one started out as a great warrior from the go, right? Well, she was very clearly wrong. One day, she just so happened to end up in the medicine den after a particularly unlucky training accident, and she felt so much more at home and relaxed than she had for moons. She was instantly fascinated by the way the medicine cat treated her wounds and something in her simply clicked.

She dreaded the conversation to come - but she knew she had to do it. That might have been the only true time that she had stood up for herself and made such an important decision all on her own. She had to make herself draw strength from the idea that she will be able to help her clan in a peaceful manner, rather than through unnecessary bloodshed. First, she made sure to speak to the medicine cat to ensure they would accept her and that she would be fit for the role. Then, she spoke to her family to see what they thought of the idea. When she had gathered the support of both her relatives and the medicine cat, she gathered up the courage to speak to the clan leader. This was perhaps the most daunting task she had ever had to do, but once her leader agreed to change her mentor, Seapaw was ecstatic.

The change in Seapaw’s mood and manner was instantaneous. She instantly fit into the medicine den and blossomed under the supervision of her mentor. Though she learned fairly quickly, she will likely be a medicine cat apprentice for some time yet due to how late she began her training. She does remember some of her warrior training and makes sure to practice fighting moves from time to time in secret, especially after The Fall.

Today, she mourns the loss of her mother but wishes desperately for her eventual return. She doesn’t blame StarClan for what happened to the clans. Not entirely. Perhaps it’s simply her naiveness, but she hasn’t abandoned them like she knows many others have. She will keep on trying to contact them, doing whatever she has to to ensure that they answer their pleas.

Fierce, protective, hard-working, fun-loving (she knows to balance fun and work), good-natured, fairl, social, friendly (though doesn't really care for making more friends than she already has, unless she finds the cat trying to be friends with her special) resilient, adaptable, tough, responsible, defensive (especially of her friends/family or particular things. She can be very biased about this if she really cares about the thing/cat). She knows to resolve issues peacefully but isn't afraid to get messy and fight if she needs to (her desire to fight has significantly decreased as she matured). She has also learned to better compromise and negotiate, though she's definitely not the best at this and prefers to let others solve issues on their own if at all possible. Her purpose isn't to prove herself; she simply wants to have fun while still being an asset to her clan. She does possess some leadership qualities and knows when and how to step in and take charge if required in a way that isn't too bossy. Though she used to want to be a leader when she was younger, as she grew to realise how difficult that position is and the kind of responsibilities she would have to take, she realised that that's not a path meant for her. Regardless, she still enjoys leading an occasional hunting or border patrol. She always respects and supports her higher-ups to the best of her ability unless she feels that they don't deserve it (she's not too afraid to speak her mind). She's the kind of cat that enjoys lazing around after a day of hard work - but only when she's sure her duties are complete. She can be a bit of a hopeless romantic, though romance is definitely not her strong suit. She's just waiting for the right cat to come along.

She doesn't think she would like to have kits someday as she helped to raise her younger siblings when her mother was unable to. She does enjoy playing with them and finds them rather cute - she just doesn't have the desire to raise her own litter after having have had the responsibility of raising her younger siblings. She just wants to relax, have fun and be a good warrior for as long as she can. Plus, she doesn't believe bearing kits to be the only way to help her clan and believes that being a good warrior is more important. Who knows though? Perhaps it would take the right tom to come along to change her mind.

Hostile, snappish, and rather reserved, Shadefeather isn't a cat who has many friends. ThunderClan cats used to say that she'd be better off in ShadowClan. She's always loved to gossip, and still tends to treat the cats who fought with the Dark Forest with considerable cruelty. Shadefeather no longer believes in StarClan, and loves to discuss this with any cat - regardless of their own views.

H I S T O R Y
Born and raised in ThunderClan, there's not too much to tell about Shadefeather. She fought bravely to defend the Clans, but was one of the first to fall back due to sickness - which a medicine cat later told her was due to pregnancy. Since coming to the new camp, she's resided in the nursery with the other queens.
