"I'm not that stupid," Kali scoffed, "I know if I got in a fight with you, here, on school grounds, Regium guards would descend on us immediately and I'd end up in a cell, or dead, while you would get off easy."

"It's u-um, close," Kev nodded. Ames was also thinking hard. "I think I've got it, is it a joke?" He asked. Kev nodded.

"True. So keep your dirty mutt paws off Regium people," Casimir said, giving Kali a long stare before putting his silver dagger away. He glanced over at Nicola, still holding that bag of cookies in one hand.

At this point, Logan realized Ames was a pretty decent dude and began to feel bad about being rude to him before about being a vampire and all, so he turned to Ames and said hesitantly, "Hey man, I'm sorry about freaking out before, you're actually pretty chill, and you know, not bloodthirsty and terrifying at all."

"Be careful with your words, one day you might find yourself far from the safety of your pretty little city and something might happen," Kali muttered. Nonetheless, she went back to gardening rather than engage in a fight with Casimir, though she kept one eye on him, mistrustful. Nicola seemed to only now notice Casimir and Kali were talking and cheerfully walked over to them, "Oh hey guys! Did you have a nice conversation- WAIT ARE THOSE CoOkIeS?" Nicola zeroed in the cookies Casimir was holding, looking like a puppy who just spotted treats.

"It's all good. You were much calmer than many people I've met in the past," Ames chuckled. "I mean, at least you didn't throw books at me or something."

Casimir ignored Kali. "Yeah... I bought cookies for you. You're okay with chocolate chip cookies, right?" Casimir held out the bag of cookies, sounding uncertain.

He offered one to Lily, who hesitantly accepted it, before happily eating one himself. He had also offered one to Kali, but she had just stared at it like it was poison so he put it back in the bag.

Casimir just watched Nicola fondly as Nicola distributed the cookies. "So, uh, what have you been up to? Other than talking with... them?" Casimir glanced at Lily and Kali. "I hope Gwen hasn't been causing you trouble."
