Name: Casimir Kane

Appearance: Casimir has pale white-blonde medium-length hair, icy light blue eyes, and pale skin. He's 5’9 (not counting shoes/hair) and is quite good-looking. He has scars all over his body, especially on his arms. He wears a something with long sleeves whenever he can to cover the scars. He also keeps a silver dagger with him, it's kept on his belt. There is a noble feel about him. He rarely smiles and usually has a bored expression.

Backstory: Casimir comes from a powerful noble family of Regium. His family is one of the families who fund the activities of Regium soldiers. They hate the Daria's and believe that Regium's are better than them. His father actually is one of the people who commands a section of Regium soldiers... Casimir himself undergoes vigorous training focusing on hand-to-hand combat and war strategies, per his father’s orders. Most of the time his father puts him against any monsters he can get his hands on and orders Casimir to kill them. He often gets injured during the process, hence the scars. Sometimes real blades are used in person to person training to make it more realistic. There are also training sessions designed just for him such as having metal weapons thrown at him and he has to stop them with his power. He often trains in this old abandoned warehouse-looking building with two floors (his father watches him from the second floor). He had an older brother named Connor Kane who was literally excellent at everything, but ever since Connor died, his parents had become even more disappointed in Casimir. Right now, Casimir is trying very hard to please his father and not be a failure. His father is also very strict and limits who Casimir can become friends with/where Casimir can go/what things Casimir can read etc.

Personality: Casimir appears to be cold and unfriendly, and hostile at times. He doesn't like to show what emotion he's feeling. He thinks that he is better than Daria's and some Regium's. He's rude to Daria's, and prefers to hang out with a close circle of Regium friends. He is stubborn and won't back down easily. He conducts himself nicely in formal settings like Regium gatherings. He can be nice, though it is rare, and when he is, he's kind of awkward. He also feels useless and like a failure deep down, 'deep down' being the keywords, because of how his parents are disappointed in him and compare him to Connor all the time. Despite of all this, he still loves his family and would protect them with his life. He is also extremely loyal to Regium. And by this, I mean, extremely. He would jump off a cliff if he was ordered to, and if he thinks there's a good reason behind the order. He can also be a little...extreme at times. He's bad at expressing his feelings, especially when they're romantic feelings. He also has a hard time trusting most people and thinks that they can turn against him without any warning.

Sexuality: Asexual (he is panromantic)

Love Interest: Nicola - Cares a lot, lot more for them than what he shows. It's not very obvious but he cherishes them greatly and will not let anything bad happen to them even if it means himself getting hurt or dying. Meaning that he would take a bullet and so much more for Nicola. And also destroy whoever tried to hurt Nicola.

Powers: Metal manipulation and enhanced combat skills through training. For metal manipulation, he cannot create metal - he can only control metal around him. The bigger the object is, the more energy it takes for him to move it. Shaping metal is also a part of metal manipulation, but Casimir rarely uses it.

Weakness: He is human and is afraid of appearing weak in front of others. He is also colorblind but doesn't like telling people about it as he thinks it's a weakness. He is also sensitive about his brother's death and insults towards his family and Regium.

Siblings: An older brother named Connor who was a Regium soldier but died when Casimir was fourteen. Connor died on a mission to investigate a mysterious monster. Only a small fraction of the soldiers made it back.

Family+Relationships: Older brother: Connor Edward Kane, Parents: Arthur Charles Kane and Catherine Alva Eldove (changed to Catherine Alva Kane). His father thinks he is a good-for-nothing and Casimir believes that he deserves to be thought of like that. He still tries to prove himself, though. During training sessions, his father is pretty much heartless and somewhat puts Casimir's life at risk and Casimir accepts that, thinking that it is good for him and makes it more realistic. His father also shouts insults at him about how weak he is compared to Connor during training or in arguments. His father sees Casimir as more of something that can be trained to earn glory for the family rather than a son. His mother is more kind to him but also believes that Casimir is not as good as Connor. She just doesn't say it to his face. Casimir wants to please them and make them proud of him, but so far he's getting nothing but disappointment from them. They still care about him, though, but it is more because they would have to adopt a kid and start over if he dies. Despite his inner feelings, he is still arrogant and aggressive towards most people. Update: His mother has died during the roleplay time RIP.

Fun fact: Casimir's mother's side of the family is actually descended from elves, but his mother is human because the last of the elfness died out some generations ago due to a lot of mingling with humans. His mother, Connor, and Casimir have powers due to this distant elf ancestry. The one other thing that resulted from the distant elf ancestry is their pale skin. They have no enhanced strength or anything like that.

He grew up with a massive fear for almost anything that could hurt him if he doesn’t know what it is, with this he has been known to faint constantly. With this problem Penelope has made sure everyone keeps an eye on him
