what buildings do you have unlocked atm? I usually just spam nook miles tickets and try and villager hunt, but it never lasts long because I get bored easily x3

so Mabel comes to your island once you've unlocked isabelle and The Town Hall, and I think you have to buy a certain amount of items/spend a certain amount of bells, and then she eventually asks you to pick a spot for the shop to be at. just talk to her everyday, I'd say buy atleast 2 items when she comes, and do that until she asks you to get a spot.
