After The War - Role Play Thread

Introduction

It is now the year 2080, around 10 years after the invasion. They came out of nowhere, invaded Earth, attacked all the living things on our planet, and destroyed the moon. We called them "The Ravagers". It took long years of war to drive them out, but only after significant damage to our side. A large population of the life forms on Earth have been wiped out. Almost nothing can grow on Earth anymore and it is a struggle to survive for the remaining humans. Food and fresh water is hard to come by and many buildings we'd try use for shelter have crumbled away into nothing.

The destruction of the moon has affected the Earth with significant changes; debris of the moon have crashed down and destroyed many things causing giant craters to form in the ground, eclipses no longer exist, there are only small tides from the larger bodies of water, and the seasons no longer exist making the Earth have a humid climate while making rain scarce.

Our technology had advanced during the years of the war and the human survivors have now scavenged whatever they could get. Weapons have become more dangerous and digital tech has become more useful. Technology is scarce and not everyone would have been able to get their hands on it. However, technology does not guarantee a person's survival. Almost nothing will grow and fresh water is not something you can get easily.

Will the survivors fight over the remains or will they perish on the now unrecognizable planet we called home? They need to choose quickly because the Ravagers may not have left the planet...

Rules

- Follow ALL rules on Lioden! This is an on-site role play!

- Romance, Drama, Violence, etc. is allowed but all Lioden players are 16 years or older so keep it PG-16! No extreme gore or intimate scenes please! Have it fade to black or something.

- LGBTQ+ Supported. If you have a problem, don't join.

- This is Semi-Literate! Please post AT LEAST 2 sentences during the role play! We need something to work with and this is not very hard to achieve.

- Swearing is allowed just don't overdo it. Nobody likes people or characters who swear too much and unnecessarily.

- No Mary/Gary Sues! No overpowered characters! People can be stronger than other people but everybody has weaknesses!

- Contact the other player before killing/seriously injuring their character. Don't just say they are suddenly dead because you blasted them or something.

- This is a CHILL role play! Post when you can and I'd appreciate it if you could post once a week. If you need to leave or take a break from this just post in the discussion thread or let me know!

- I'm not making limited spots yet but make sure you can still handle all your characters if you want to make more than three.
