Hi! I’m back! I’ve looked over the bases and I’ve noticed some of the darker colored ones make the line art look kinda greyish/ not super visible, mainly in Raven / Otter. Otter in particular in where the leg and torso kinda meet? Just a heads up! Otherwise they look as gorgeous as usual ! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hello all! It has been quite a while since a new base on this suggestion was added/edited, for that I do apologize. Now, onto the good stuff (hopefully, lol). The biggest news I can share is the app I have utilized from the beginning of 11/2020 has officially been exchanged for a far better one, in my opinion. (In case anyone is curious the app I now use is Procreate). With this change comes new bases, tweaks, inspirations, and much more. Provided below is a short list of bases that will face complete revamps in the coming months, and some reasons/explanations as to why. Bases to be revamped: ~ Vortex: This maybe a given, but it is certainly one of the most lacking of the suggestions here, especially with the odd horizontal striping that is quite visible on it. ~ Otter: As stated and brought to my attention by CASEY #164180, the rich darkness does in fact dull and mar the line-art near the belly and upper limbs (elbow area). This should be a relatively easy fix, involving blending the greige further down the afflicted limbs and belly. ~ Raven: Dear sweet Raven, now this base is going to face a complete rehaul, one of which that may see it leave this thread until further notice. For this I do offer most sincere apologies. ~ Dragonfruit: Though the community has had a love-hate relationship with this one, it too shall fall under the pen again. It’s saturation is all out of whack, a bright pink punch to the eyes if you will. So it definitely needs to be mellowed out a little. General Changes & Bases to Come: -A name voting system: Three potential names will be provided at the time a mock-up is made, that allows the community to be a little more involved in the naming process. Three options will be provided, but if you have a suggestion of your own that is absolutely welcomed. -YOUR suggested bases: You read that correctly, your bases that have been suggested in this thread will be attempted and shared with you privately so that you can decide what it is you would like tweaked or shared. Do note that this will take a great deal of time on my end, that includes revisiting earlier pages of this thread and working from there to the newest suggestions. - Potential videos of the process of making select bases (start to finish), so you may witness the difficulties I put on myself lol.
