I think it's great! Poses like Searching, Fearful, Snoozing, Stalking all come to mind as poses that could work. The default pose only does so much, and so many people just, pose their lions anyways.

And for the issue of, claiming an NCL and them being occasionally posed, perhaps instead of personality pose, they could have a small chance to have one of those other poses, if there's enough made to draw a pool from. I'd say there should be at least 10.

New poses take an insane amount of work as all bases, markings, eyes, skins etc need to be made anew for that pose. It's highly unlikely for any new lioness poses to be added anytime soon. Most members would prefer one or two more male poses if any were to be added. This would also take away the 'special' feeling of a posed lioness as it usually means someone decided to put effort and currency in it.

Yeah, there is that issue I'm afraid. It would take a very long time given all the markings, bases, eyes that are available. I could understand why the devs haven't made new stuff like that yet, though admittedly I have no idea how many devs there even is for the site.

That is true but the first part of my suggestion still stands. We don’t need new poses right away but the laying down pose as a default is a bit boring to me. I think having the defaults be their personality poses will help freshen things up and it doesn’t require any new art just some changes to the code since you already have a chance to claim poses lionesses.

But what about people who payed for the poses their lionesses have right now? It would be waste of money if EVERY lioness would be posed just like that. Also what if you would like lioness a pose different from her personality?

No, from me. I would much prefer at least one male pose.

I understand your worry, I personally have paid for poses from Oasis, but wouldn't be unhappy. I buy things that cost money from the game to support the devs, if they decided to make something like a posed lioness a bit more normalized, with other poses able to be randomly caught from lionesses in the wild, say, you find a lioness who's got a pose other than her personality or maybe she is claimed with one.

I wouldn't be mad, personally. I mostly agree with this because the content in the game seems a bit.. Lacking, to someone like me who's not played for a long time, and is used to the idea of paying for games with much more content. BUT, I also know the team on this, versus on other games, are vastly different. They don't have the same people power and artist power as something like Red Dead, or Five Nights At Freddy's, etc.

Maybe to lessen the load of work on them for it would be having artists in the community help, with item reward or something that doesn't particularly hurt them too much if money is an issue.

But, at the end of the day. I think there needs to be more to the game. Maybe not right this second, obviously, I wouldn't even be mad if they said "hey this is cool, let's do it in 3 years", because that'd be fine too.

Minecraft takes a long time to update, and it's all gucci. I'd wait. Male poses first seems like a great idea, but eventually, more poses for the ladies would be nice. Add more variety.
