So you all know Achromias and Melanistic lions? We all love them both but admitedly they are pretty much all looks and seing that encounter back in Febuary I though: Why not mix the two? Does not matter how! Imagine a half Achro half Melanistic lion! Admitedly you can do a similar thing with patches on an albino or pie on a black base but it's not the same! I would personally love to be able to use my achros and melanistics to make some sort of hybrid of the two! Let me know what you think as well ^^ |

It would be great for those muts to be able to have a purpose instead of just looking pretty :D and a chance at passing some sort of mutation with the double colour too would be amazing!  0 players like this post! Like? |

I love the idea but wouldn't that fall under the category of a lion having two mutations? Or would you need to breed an Achromia to a Melanistic and the resulting offspring has that single (new) mutation that resulted from the parents? Only asking, cause I'm curious how this would work, especially since staff have said that lions won't ever be getting more than one mutation at a time. :/ 0 players like this post! Like? |

This idea seems fun! I love combo breeding so I'm always down for more ideas, and this would really help get those overlooked muts some love! By combo I'm assuming ot would work the similar to a combo base or succubus mut, where one parent would need achro and another would need melanism? It would also be fun to give the resulting cub the ability to pass the mutation IF paired with an achro or melan, but that might be a stretch xD 0 players like this post! Like? |
