A small male approached Icestar. “Hello, may I enter in the caves?” He asked. He looked as though he was confident about where to go and what to get, but Icestar could see him nervously shuffling his paws. The small male glanced at the tunnel, wondering what treasures were inside, or maybe traps? Maybe crocodiles? He thought. Staring up ahead, Everything Soup groaned internally at the idea of climbing up to get to the Ancient Trials, yet still made the trek. He personally wasn’t interested, but knew that his pride mates would (he was also hoping that none of them were yet dead, leaving Shiga in charge was not a good choice in hindsight). Eventually making his way there, he saw an unusually colored creature. Thankfully, living where he did, anything unusual was now usual. He’d given up on any normalcy, for his own mental sake. Approaching the blue...whatever, he sat down roughly six feet away from them, before lying down to hopefully make himself appear unthreatening. “Hello, my name is Everything Soup. It would feel terribly impersonal to return and say ‘the gatekeeper allowed me through’. Everything Soup stared at the cat, before nodding, accepting the answer without any more questions, though he was internally sobbing with relief. “It’s nice to meet you, then, Icestar.” Letting the conversation fall after that, he didn’t know what to do next. On the hand, staying and chatting seemed polite, but he wasn’t good at social interactions, and on the other hand, he really did need to get back soon before Shiga ended up killing somebody on accident.
