Howdy! Welcome to the Lobby, in a moment, starter selections will begin. First, maybe take a quick read again through the info, or if anything seems unclear, feel free to ask :D

Right now, I want to introduce the two versions, Dusk and Dawn !
The most major difference between them are the inclusion of a certain type of Pokémon, which are Moonblight and Seraphs.


Seraphs are Dawn-exclusive. They are usually feathery/downy and possess lighter colours. Often winged and have a x-shaped motif on them, these Pokémon are renowned for their mysterious and elegant nature, stories of them often paint them as celestial beings and impossible creatures of light and of all good nature.


Moonblights are Dusk-exclusive. They are thought to be arcane beings borne of moonlight, able to form their bodies into mist. They have star-shaped motifs on them and usually bear darker colours and markings. Their ghost-like appearance often leads to other Pokémon getting scared by their presence, so they are often very solitary individuals.

Other than that, there are also differences in the main storyline! Below are short summaries of what you can expect to see in either version:

Dusk
You as a novice explorer have chosen to help out a community of Pokémon as they journey to the Opal-point Precipice in an annual tradition held to honour Lunala, the Moone Pokémon. However, weird occurrences and obstacles have suddenly arisen to prevent these Pokémon from continuing any further into their journey- such as a snowstorm that has raged on for days on end with no sign of it stopping anytime soon. The Pokémon have built a basecamp at the bottom of a valley, where they now will have to figure out another way to fulfil their tribute to Lunala.

Dawn
A festival is being held in a small, humble seashore village of Pokémon! They are all celebrating the sun and its guardian, Solgaleo, the Sunne Pokémon. Plenty of Seraph Pokémon live here, revered and respected by Pokémon of all sorts, even dubbed as 'Emissaries of The Sun'. However, there has been rumours lately that the Seraph Pokémon in the village are no longer upholding their responsibility as protectors of the village, instead letting evil Pokémon run rampant and opting to take advantage of gullible Pokémon and their undying loyalty for Solgaleo. The festival must go on to preserve morale, but something must be done for the safety of the village.

A voice rings out through the dark, muffled by a murky fog enveloping your unconscious mind. "The world of Pokémon is rich with all sorts of creatures possessing great strength and potential within them. So, I'm curious, who are you supposed to be?"

Try to remember who you are,

Choose a Pokémon for your starter. It can be most Pokémon except legendaries and particularly large Pokémon such as wailords. Your starter may be shiny, but it cannot be a seraph or a moonblight. If you so choose to be a shiny, please state what colour you'd like it to be as they are not limited to the official shiny palette. Another important detail, please note what personality your starter possesses.

The voice says something else, "Where are you? By the beach, under a kind sun, watching the ocean waves? Or are you huddled in between thick cloth, hiding from a raging snowstorm?"

Choose which version of this event you'd like to embark on. Dusk or Dawn?


Answer these two questions! This selection will last until around May 8th 22:00-23:00PST, if I'm able to finish these starters earlier, the event might even start earlier!
