Hello. I wish to start a vote on the "clean/dirty" topic and see how many of you agree and disagree with this way of playing Lioden. My arguments: Lioden is a simulation game, meaning that it's goal is to be closest to reality as possible. And in my opinion the "clean/dirty" mindset of playing the game should take it easy because it has nothing to do with reality and it's a torture to the players with "dirty" lions, mutations and hybrids. There is an RPG section as well as a Clan/Group section in the game and players have the free will to take advantage of it but it's not okay to mass spread your way of playing to everyplayer and condemn the rest that are considered "dirty" or with a "dirty" pride/king. Now, let's do a little reality check. You cannot compare humans with lions because to me that's what the whole "dirty/clean" playing looks like. Incest in the big cat population guarantees the continuation of the generation and the mix of genes makes their chances of survival stronger. Not to mention it is a perfectly normal event in the wild in multiple different animal species. How is this way of playing natural to a natural based game? And according to this way of playing the game - all players who have "dirty" BO lions, project lions, mutated lions and hybrids should all chase, kill or nature reserve them just because they are considered by most players standards "dirty"? It doesn't even have effect on the game which makes is even more pointless to divide "clean" from "dirty". To how many of you this way of playing is considered fair and natural? Please share your thoughts in the comments and give your arguments on why you don't support. |

Becoming a clean pride can be pricey, but it's rewarding. Being a dirty pride can also be pricey, and can also be just as rewarding. Both have pros and cons. If you've surrounded yourself with players who desire clean lions, of course you're not going to be able to sell a dirty lion that easily. There are PLENTY of clans that are accepting of advertisements of dirty lions and you could very well make your own if you thought this is such an issue. There are clean clans, make a dirty clan if you're so passionate about this. Getting a completely clean heir isn't that expensive anyways, just as long as you have an understanding of lioden's market. I stored away male groupies on my side for free, bought hold beetles with my silver beetles and I've manually saved up for an heir replacement. Time consuming? Sure. Difficult? Not really. I can see your frustration with this, but trying to tell us that our playstyle shouldn't well... be a playstyle... isn't okay. It's a game, let us have fun! 0 players like this post! Like? |

"It's easy to say that "adapt or get left behind" when you are on top of the market." Yeah it is. Doesn't make it any less true ;) And clean lions are so widespread, they're easy to obtain rather cheaply unless you're looking for clean and BO or clean and mutie. So I'd have to disagree; Clean breeding is VERY affordable nowadays, even for casual players 0 players like this post! Like? |
