i don't mean to be that person but this suggestion sort of reminds me of an older suggestion that was made a few yrs ago in a funny way, not a duplicate suggestion way dgjkdlh

when i was younger, i used to watch a lot of national geographic and animal planet with my parents sometimes,

from what i remember, lions tend to kill cheetahs very often, especially the cubs. i don't think they would help each other out, would they...?

This wouldn't work.

Females are most definitely solitary, and only males form coalitions.

Lions would never help cheetahs out, they are a rival and can easily be killed. The cheetah is pretty much in trouble evolution wise. They get exhausted fast, and cannot fight against a larger predator (hyena, lion or leopard). They have a difficult time with prey because of the hyena, leopard or lion taking it from them, no matter how hard the cheetah tries to keep it.

Said predators will also kill the cubs and possibly the mother cheetah. Males have numbers on their side, females only have themselves.

About the only skill they have is speed, that's literally it. I love cheetahs, don't get me wrong. They just have the short end of the evolution stick.

I don't think cheetahs and lions being natural enemies should raise such a problem since we already have the January story. we're presented as not liking him, but still. however that would raise the idea that we don't really need a repeat of the great hunger story, just with cheetahs. it would have to be something more unique, and what would it replace?

cheetahs are also, as other people have said, solitary.

I think it could be an interesting idea with more depth and tweaking. but the devs are already, iirc, wrestling with the March story, and I wasn't here for July this year but I don't think they're fully done with it either. I don't know if we'd get it any time soon.

Oh my god I posted this so long ago, here’s an update to the idea.

Males live in coalitions so I’d definitely think about rewriting this at one point to just make a cheetahden game where it’s cheetahs fighting their rivals, almost like this game. I’d definitely think about the concept of this game where you could kick females, abandon females ect, since females don’t really live with males as they prefer to be solitary and raise their cubs away from danger. I’d add ideas like poaching to the game too, since that’s a threat to cheetahs in the wild. Obviously, there would be some aspects to the game which would be unrealistic, like the cheetahs saving another cheetahs cub or raising a lion cub so the cub could love independently but help with quests, overall, I’d love to see a cheetah game similar to lioden but with its own personality. Cheetah customisations and mutations like king cheetah markings or no markings ect. Another unrealistic feature is seeking help, like going into a village if you’re injured and seeking assistance from the animals that live there, including domesticated dogs, which could become companions over time and help them with gathering food and completing tiger quests.

This is just a really stupid idea, so just ignore this for now, I’d definitely think about a tiger version of this game, that would be interesting, more interesting than a cheetah
