Scorched A massive heat wave has swept over the world, bringing drought and famine to the West. Humans have run from their homes to move further into the North or perished in the relentless temperatures. In their plight they have abandoned their livestock. Casting the equines they once called family pets into the wasteland to fend for themselves. They must now compete with the local wildlife for food and water while also trying to outrun the dreaded weather. The feral herds, however, are faring just as poorly. Their numbers have dwindled, forcing them to set aside their differences and come together to survive. Predators nip at their heels and thirst parches their throats as they search for salvation. Can they find a new place to thrive before it's too late, or will the harsh change in climate engulf them in it's wake? -Present Day- Horses from all walks of life have now found themselves lost in the dried wasteland, struggling to survive. Some have begun to group together, led by a mare who goes by the name 'Dalea'. She leads them north in the hopes that they will one day stumble upon lush land again, or the weather will eventually loosen it's grip on their homeland. However, she and her followers are quickly losing belief in their survival. Resources are dwindling with each new face that joins the herd, horses are growing restless, and tempers are beginning to flare. The future looks dim for these wanderers, but perhaps they will flourish once again if they can only stay together.
