(This took me a while to write, but It's worth coz I just wanna help you out!!! I even used the wardrobe to look at existing bases to make sure what I'm saying is valid!)

Lemme try to make some advice, even if it's just a little bit! Also these would be called bases, Not skins!

For the sake of simplicity, I'm not gonna incorperate what type of classification (dark/light, common/rare/special, ect) the bases are, and focus on looks only!


1) Blood Comet
I like the concept of the base itself, but I find that the black is TOO black! Noctis is supposed to be the darkest color allowed on lioden. It takes away from the lineart, making it hard to see the lines at all. I reccomend making the black lighter, and also blending the colors a little bit! It's not common to see a lioden base that has a full-on solid coloring, and bases usually have a soft blend to them.

2) Oceanic storm
Again, I like the concept, and the blending on the legs are very nice, but the lightning strikes seem a bit too solid- Blending them out a little bit might help improve the appearance! Maybe try blending the lightning a lot at the top of the head and back of the lioness, and only a litttle at the bottom, and see how that looks!

3) Fiery Comet
This base has the same issue as the first one: It is too dark, darker than Noctis! It looks almost like a deep fried meme (This is supposed to be humerous! <3) It reminds me of a MUCH darker Fiery base with the color black added to it. My only reccomendation for this one is lighten the black and maybe blend the colors a little bit more.

4) Floral Blessing
This one is also MY least favorite. It looks like an old piece of furniture from the 90's! (I am playing with you, of course. I mean no harm with my jokes! ^^) I don't really know how to improve this base besides removing or maybe heavily blending or distorting of the floral pattern

5) Hibiscus+ Teardrop Variant 1
This looks like it's just Hibi. put through a color changer to make the shades more 'tangy' (bright?) and vibrant. It's a good attempt but I don't think Lioden would add this one as it looks too similar design-wise to an already existant base. Maybe try changing up the way the underfur and the coat look, maybe mixing designs from both bases!

6) Hibiscus+Teardrop Variant 2
I agree with the lovely @💀💀(she/her, main (#218919) on this one. She's lovely, but we already have a very similar base called Cherry Blossom! Your base is very vibrant in comparison, though! (I like it, even if it's similar!)

7) Hibiscus Variant 3
This looks like a perfect copy of the Hibi. base that we already have but with a slight white-ness to the paws. For this one, I reccomend the same thing I reccomended for #5!

8) Pastel Blitz
This base has the same lightning as #2 and I reccomend the same thing that I reccomended there too!

9) Jaded Terrain
Jaded Is probably the only one that I would agree would fit in the game so far! It's well-blended, doesn't push the dark colors, doesn't look like it already has markings on it and would probably work very well with some existing markings on the game, along with adding some pretty nice markings of it's own. It is my absolute favorite, and I think it would be a lovely base in the game.

10) Daylight Storm
This base idea is my second favorite on this post! I think with the lightning blending reccomended in #2 and maybe a bit of dimming with the bases brightness, it could be a perfect addition to the cream bases in the game!

ooh these are pretty good. my favs are 5 + 8 + 9! 8 reminds me a bit of peach, so maybe you could add another color or two to make it unique? :3

jaded terrain is a really good option that lioden could actually add, i suggest doing more bases similar to that!

Jaded is neat, and Daylight is also pretty nice though I'd prefer a version without the white marks- 2nd & 3rd Hibi bases already basically exist ingame, though, and the rest are too saturated/high contrast or patterned for my taste
