So, I’ve had this idea for a new primal variation marinating for a while and finally decided to make a post about it c: This primal is based on the Metailurus! Here’s a quick mock-up I did of what the variation might look like:  *Update* Since so many of you seem to like this idea, I’ve made a few more sketches :)  *Update 2* Made a new sketch, showing off the Lurus in a more playful pose  This would be the first female only variant, a counterpart to Smilus. I also imagine it as the smallest of the Primals, even somewhat smaller than the regular lions (mostly because it is based on the Metailurus, which was quite small). Maybe it can only pass down from a female who has the mutation, and with the only other way of obtaining it is through an item that will birth a cub with the variation(similar to the mechanics of the ferus and mukombero)? Feel free to leave more suggestions in the comments! :) |

As much as I would say make it female-only, that would mean I couldn't king it, and I LOVE HAVING PRIMAL VARIATION KINGS. Please, primal kings are love and life. Give me the long boi. It's like a sabertooth puma and I love pumas so much.  0 players like this post! Like? |

I imagine the item that could be used would guarantee a female cub born with the mutation, as I'd still like to see the mutation somewhat widely available instead of very rare like Smilus, which you can only get from pure luck :) 0 players like this post! I LOVE her!! If this gets put into the game it's going to be a fan favorite in days. Some possible ideas— perhaps the Lurus gets a boost in agility and/or speed? I don't see them having high strength stats because of their small size relative to other Primals (and even regular lions), but it would be fun to have these little ladies running circles around their pride members! They might even be good at climbing trees. Some flavor text: "The antelope you'd gone after earlier almost got away, but [LIONESS NAME] caught up in no time and brought it down in a shower of dirt and sand!" "One of the other lionesses' cubs got stuck in a dense thicket they'd been dared to explore by the older cubs. You were worried the cub would have to spend the night in there before they could be rescued, but [LIONESS NAME] managed to weave her way in and out of the thicket before sundown, bringing the cub back to their worried mother." "You followed the sound of arguing to an open savannah one afternoon, only to find [LIONESS NAME] squabbling with a couple of cheetahs over who won their last race! The cheetahs almost bolt in fear when they notice you, only for [LIONESS NAME] to strut right up to you and demand that you referee the next race." 0 players like this post! Like? |
