so I was scrolling through tiktok and I found a video about a thing called an "amorphus globosus" which I find to be incredibly interesting! from my knowledge, it's mainly found in cattle but there have been cases with goats and even one with a human! it's kind of unknown as to what exactly causes this anomaly to happen, however it seems to be more common in cattle with twins in which one of the twins isn't developed all that much and comes out as nothing but a furry ball.
it isn't alive, obviously, but the inside of the ball is said to differentiate between organisms. they range from having bones, organs, both and even muscles!
