Hiya y’all, long time no see. Determined that it is time to create a new blanket thread for the tropics and such (wide term for well, the variety that will soon follow). Hope you do enjoy. Hapuna (Fun Fact: Voted as the #1 Best Beach in America in 2021 *also, do note that it is man made, despite many claims at it being natural, if you want natural beaches in Hawaii then check out the island of Kauai*)   Ko’oloa’ula (An endangered plant of Hawaii, that is rather rare in the wild, but is used quite often in landscaping)   Periwinkle (Turns out they both are tropical/semitropical plants, had no clue, the more you know)   Oceanic  Atlantic (w/ water accents)  Atlantic (w/o water accents)  |

@Kiwi, why thank you, I noticed some suggestions (such as your own) for Lavender after having made the base and immediately noticed yours was far more of a Lavender than it (quite a few nice bases I’ve seen you suggest, keep rocking it). 0 players like this post! Like? |

It’s quite surprising how therapeutic (in a way) it is to design bases, and how quickly time flies as you work on them. Though I must say, both Periwinkle and Oceanic are recolors/tweaked versions of bases already in game. Orchid for Periwinkle, and Ancestral for Oceanic, the detail for these two are all thanks to Xylax and fellow members of the art team. 0 players like this post! Like? |
