OOOHHH I love little comics that seem normal in the beginning but the end is unsettling/ creepy. Like a character is playing a game or something in the beginning and then they hear a sound like a *thump* from downstairs and either call out to their friend or parent or something thinking it's them, and when whoever it is doesn't answer they just dismiss it. Or someone (something) opened the door and went inside, some kind of easily written off/ dismissed sound. And then the actual parent or friend opens the door and comes into the house. Or they get a text saying "on my way home." And then they realize that something or someone else is in the house and we leave off on this eerie what's 'going to happen now?' shot of them looking super freaked out and maybe a shadow behind the door to their room or glowing eyes in the darkness or a hand coming around the door, something like that.

ok this might sound silly or stupid, but given the max is 8 slides you could do a short lil comic about someone who rescues a baby animal (elephant, lion, jaguar, rhino) after the baby's mom was poached. i think it would start off sad but would have a happy ending! and it would shed light on poaching problems
