First of all, I want to make it clear I am not trying to get them to remove the bases as that would be an unnecessary amount of work and I realize many people do like them. I simply want to raise awareness of some concerns and try to discourage similar happening in the future.

I understand that they are going for another trio of combo bases, however I feel that their color choice for Ennead could have been leagues better. The way they kept the color palette the same and seemingly only added a blue hue makes it so difficult to tell them apart unless seen side by side. While this method worked for the gilded, sphinx, and rose gold trio, I believe it does not do so well on the Ogdoad due to the contrasting colors. Additionally, while I do enjoy the idea of a new combo trio, having them both in the same month seems slightly unbalanced. I personally would love to see a combo trio in September or November.



My second concern was with Ankh. While I personally do like this base, it just felt too similar to hibiscus and kind of took away from the new special event base hype. Now the reason why I decided to bring this up is because I've spent a lot of time looking in the base suggestions thread and there are so, SO many gorgeous and original concepts that I would love to see come to life. Some of my favorite examples are below. It was just a big letdown to see all these amazing bases that they could pull inspiration from only to be given recycled and another set of nearly identical bases that I just didn't feel excited for.
