Soots'
He was a mysterious black lion with the sunset-colored eyes. He was considered a candidate for ruling, even though his blood wasn't pure. No one has seen Soots' since the birth of Sàmhchair, but no one was really concerned about it, including his own mother, as he didn't make much of a connection with other lions.

Boox Ch'omak

Grandson of Sedovlas. Very forgiving and patient despite his fierce appearance. Trained both Boox Mo'ol and Jats'uts. Was Chakjole'en's companion for a long time before getting replaced by Boox Mo'ol.

You watch Boox Ch'omak quietly deal with some quarreling pride mates. One of them bites him on the paw in a burst of rage. but he just pats them gently on the shoulder and licks his wounds without complaint.

You sit down with Boox Ch'omak and apologize for snarling at him last night, you were just so stressed and tired. He sits next to you and shrugs while saying he didn't even notice.

Boox Mo'ol

If there was one lion Jats'uts was afraid of, it was Boox Mo'ol. Actually, there were two lions, the other one being Boox Mo'ol's mother, current High Priestess of the pride. While the lioness looked terrifying and was infamous for her violent temper, Boox Mo'ol never did anything wrong. In fact, he obeyed the king so well he was made his companion. But there was something unsettling in his calm blue eyes, and Jats'uts almost flinched whenever they happened to lock eyes. It was already decided he would rule after Chakjole'en. Needless to say, Jats'uts always made sure to be extremely polite to these two despite being the king's son.
Boox Mo'ol left the pride after Sàmhchair was announced as the next ruler.

Jats'uts

Son of Chakjole'en. Was trained by Boox Ch'omak. When it was finally time to prove himself as a warrior, Jats'uts instead was bringing prey from EVERY SINGLE patrol he went on. As a matter of fact, Jats'uts became the first male hunter of the pride. Which... suits him, in an odd way. He's too full of himself to hunt with other lionesses, but he likes to hang out with Sak Lu'um. So Chakjole'en officially made him the second scout of the pride (at 2 y. 5 m.), albeit with a deep sigh and after long consideration.
Luckily for Jats'uts (and the rest of the pride), a lion more suitable for reign than Boox Mo'ol was born. A perfect candidate, one might say. Still, Jats'uts felt disappointed that he, otherwise a rightful heir, would never rule. But oh well, at least he is free to do whatever he wants and isn't required to breed. That was a relief.

When you come to greet Jats'uts, he gives you the most contemptuous snarl.

You approach Jats'uts and he actually acknowledges you! He proceeds to tell you a story that you should be quite honored to hear. You wonder what you did to become worthy of his time.
