Your heavy armour clanks and shifts while you walk around awfully slow. Besides a couple of insects everything here has tried to kill you, yet it wasn’t even worth it as those indescribable creatures were so…indescribable that you can’t even share your horrific story. Maybe you’re exaggerating, hm. The fog is thick and damp, almost suffocating, it feels as though you’re a tortoise who’s run a marathon. Something catches your eye before you turn back, it must’ve been the blue sky peeking out, but wait…the sky never peeks out. The light changes from blue to green, green to yellow, and so on. With all your frustrations of getting attacked built up you pounce on it, expecting a monster, but it’s a fox? It’s hind legs are replaced with what seems to be what ghosts are? See, indescribable! You sketch down the creature as it spins around you, then it turns into a regular white fox and tackles you, showing its teeth with a cheeky smile. You stand up, knocking the small animal down, it isn’t hurt though. It shifts back into its spirit-like form and hops around you some more, yipping and laughing. It isn’t aggressive or afraid, it must have no natural predators, but why would a little fox have none? You’re done, but it seems the ghost is attached to your head, oh well, it’ll go home eventually, right?

You put on your armour, fastening the straps to your body. “I’m ready,” you huff. “On you go!” Raven waved farewell. You grip onto your paper nervously, but try to keep a confident demeanour. The fog is not that bad, and the place seems empty. You hop between islands, or is float a better word? Oh look a monster. You stroll past it as the square-shouldered beast examines you. It’s grumbles fade when you walk across a bridge, it doesn’t seem stable, yet it can definitely hold somebody like you. A gust of wind blows in your face, what a perfect time when you are cold. Something smacks your face really hard, but your body doesn’t have time to react. You jump up, facing what you think it’s a monster, but aaaaaaa hybrid of some sort? It has hooves, three eyes, horns, a lion tail, and did it just flick its tongue??? Forgetting its attack you step forward in amazement, but it steps backwards, so you’re not getting any closer. It hisses, “You need to leave.” Your soul almost went out of you, it talks? “You are destined to save the world with an Egyptian god, do not risk your life here.’ Its deep voice petrifies you. “What a silly cat, come here.” You wrap your arm around its shoulder like you’re best buds. “Wanna pose for a drawing?” “If it means the sun still being around.”
