Backstories:

Ester- Ester once lived as a plain lioness that you would see in every pride. She was normal, ordinary, uninteresting, but on one night, when the moon glowed high overhead and the pride was peacefully asleep, there was invasion! A cobra had entered the nursery. At this time Ester was pregnant with her third litter. A rustling noise woke her from her peaceful slumber and comforting dreams. She spotted the scales glistening on the cobra's head and sprung to action. She killed the cobra making little noise, but not before it sunk its teeth into her right rear leg. Its venom spread through her bloodstream and she sadly passed before morning. The pride was devastated, yet grateful, for her heroic sacrifice. Now she lives in the night sky of the savannah, watching over her pride, for the rest of time.

Hallie- Hallie was a simple gal with a love for flowers. She had always loved flowers and scenery since she was a cub. Once she was of age, the current pride king banished her. He told her she was supposed to be a huntress not out gathering berries and flowers. Hallie was never a fan of eating meat, she preferred local plant life to munch on. After a few years on her own she got used to living alone. When Hallie came by abandoned carcasses, she would take a few bites for strength and energy. She would occasionally greet other lone lionesses and share stories. Male lions would try to make advances on her and try to get her to join their prides, but she'd decline. Later in life as Hallie became older, she came to realize she loved lionesses. Not as friends or pride mates, but as romantic partners. This came to her when she met a supposed lone lioness whom was quite beautiful in her eyes. This lioness invited Hallie to join the clan. Hallie happily accepted. This lionesses name was Kala. She spent the last of her years in a small pride, that accepted her as she was, with the love of her life, Kala.
